Hi. I was watching tv about five minutes ago and there was an advert about a new program that will be coming soon. It's called The Last Detective and will star Peter Davison as... a detective. What do you think? Will Peter make a good detective? Would any of the other Doctor's make good detective?
I just found out that theres already been a series (or more) of this so did anyone watch it last time?

I've never seen that, but I saw Peter in a Miss Marple mystery, "Pocket Full of Rye". He was very good in that. He wasn't the detective.

The series has been on for yonks xD My dad likes it-and from what little I've seen it's pretty good. They tend to stick it on late at night though because it's seen as kind of niche, I guess. Peter's superb in it, naturally ;D

I've only ever seen clips of the Last Detective but it does look good.
Fear, Stress and Anger on the other hand is terrible! Really bad. I was very disappointed cos it has Peter Davison in AND Pippa Haywood from Greenwing and it's still terrible.

The Last Detective is well worth watching! It also has Sean Hughes from Never Mind The Buzzcocks in it. If you get chance to watch it then do so!!

Pops head up from behind the sofa
Do I count as one of those Fivey fans in hiding? lol
This sounds interesting. It's always fun to see the actors in other roles, but (cue the bells of disappointment) this is another one of those UK-only shows isn't it?
*bangs head*

Wow. I watched the first episode and kept a lookout for celery. Not a speck. I found that upsetting, and i kept looking out for the tardis. I couldn't help it. Incidentally, this is the most amount of replies to a topic i ever got. I feel special.

Well let me add another reply then - I've been watching several Fifth Doctor episodes on YouTube since he's the Doctor I know (or knew) least about. I'm really enjoying them actually. Nyssa has to rank amongst my favourite companions.
I also like his episodes because you get to see quite a lot of the rest of the TARDIS, other than the console room. It's so sparkly and white!

Who or what tidies the TARDIS? smile Certainly not the Doctor--I imagine left to him it'd turn into a real pile in there.
