Nater Brash basic math skills? i passed algebra Then you can win! ^^ It's simpler now than it was a few years ago. Instead of rolling the D20 and seeing what happens, you instead roll the D20 and add whatever modifier to it to get a solid result... EX: A Lv.2 fighter with a Str of 14 attacks a Goblin (with an Armor Class of 15). The fighetr would roll the D20, add 4 to the roll (+2 base attack bonus, +2 from str), and... (3+4=7) ...would miss horribly.

Basically, every action you do is either your roll against theirs, or your roll against a preset difficulty, such as in this case, the goblin's Armor Class.
Yeah, what it boils down to is 1d20+everything you've got going for you. In the example above, it's the skill and strength of the fighter. The higher, the better.

I get that part...i had the pleasure of joining a campaing with the great iomma before....however i forgot everything i learned. Now, I am refreshing my knowledge i thought i lost.

Well, I can usually be on more often than Iomma, and have a generally better grasp of the rules, so any questions you may have, just ask. wink

Then ask the great Iomma why Ai no longer fires 24 arrows a round as his normal attack. wink
