 Kouji is a wolf of silent strength. He does not believe in violence as the first solution to a problem, and would rather use words to fight his battles, which he chooses wisely. Born as his father's only surviving son, he was given the name Kouji, after his great grandfather who once ruled over their family's lands with wisdom and strength. It's a pity that Kouji never knew him, for his father, so caught up in his dreams an ideals, became flustered and angered when his mate could not produce more than one healthy male heir, and only two females. His mother was driven from her rank as alpha, replaced by a younger female, and treated as though nothing more than dirt. Kouji and his sister have fled his father's lands, bringing his mother along with him after a recovery trip to the territory once.
His return home brought him back to his love, and he came for her. Her father tried to stand between them, but love won out. Nessa has chosen to stay at Kouji's side and help him take back the lands so that they might be able to call it their own, and restore kindness to the North-Eastern paradise...

[x] ... Tomoyo is the she-wolf responsible for bringing Kouji and his younger sisters into this world. She is the former alpha female of her pack, but after only bearing three healthy children she was reduced to a gamma rank in favor of a younger and more fertile female. Kouji treasures his mother dearly. She is a source of strength, wisdom, and encouragement, giving all that she had to pass on what knowledge she could. Kouji was not allowed to see her much after she lost her high ranking, and resents his father for this.
[x] ... Chen is not a name that Kouji will never been fond to hear. His father, once thought to be a nurturing role-model, Chen revealed himself to be strict beyond words, refusing the siblings a normal childhood in any way that he could. Kouji resents this male for what he did to his sisters, seperating him from his friends, and for using their mother and then discarding her as though she were worthless.
[x] ... Trija is the younger of Kouji's sisters, being born after Yang, Yin is very calm, very wise. In most ways she seems to have an inner fire that burns steadily, even in face of the winds their pack-life presented. She and Kouji have a close relationship, as they share an understanding through their appreciation for silence. Of the three offspring, Trija and Kouji are the most strongly introverted.
[x] ... Talia is the middle-pup. She's very much like Kouji, not as quick to get angry as their sister. Kouji is almost overly protective over Talia, Trija not giving him the chance to be so. Talia loves her brother dearly, as he loves her, but she's beginning to take a stand as well. The recent development of her taking up a mate has Kouji in a bit of a shuffled state. Damn, he didn't even get to try intimidating the jerk first!
[x] ... Whisper was Kouji's chosen. They met when she was just a pup and he a youth in his father's lands. The two often spent time in one another's company until Chen learned of it. Chen then forbid him from seeing her, as well as the other friends he'd made during that time that were not of the pack. After that Whisper's pack was slaughtered, Kouji even suspected that perhaps Chen was responsible, but second-guessed. His father couldn't be that cruel. After Talia's departure Kouji also left, hoping to search out the emerald-she-wolf he'd met in his youth as well as his sister. He cares about her more than he really understands, never having opened up to anyone outside of his family within his father's pack before. He's definitely protective over Whisper, mostly because she lets him be, though. It's unknown what it was that drew him to her, but whatever it is, he wants to stay that way. She's a kind soul, a wonderful friend, and an excellent caregiver. He treasures their friendship, she will always be a dear friend to him.
[x] ... Diego is not on Kouji's list of wolves he gets along with. He's moody, and a little unpredictable. Kouji detests the behavior he's seen from the multi-colored wolf thus far. He doesn't care to leave Whisper alone in his company either, he does not trust Diego's intentions, adoptive-mother or not. Not a lot more is known of Diego just yet, since they haven't seen one another in some time now.
[x] ... Syn and Kouji met briefly during her stroll from the packlands. He's offered to show her about the freelands. This young female gave away her pack-status fairly easy, as well as her true age. Kouji can't find it in him to burst her bubble yet, though. Time will tell what kind of friendship develops between these two.
[x] ... Fute and Kouji seem to be growing into a father-son, or brotherly relationship. Whenever the energetic pup is around Kouji in general tends to show his nurturing side more often. He provides for the little one, has even given him a bit of advice on love, and has, on two ocassions, shown him the ropes of hunting somewhat. Fute is welcomed. Despite the fact that they seem to be opposites in personality and in color, Kouji is fond of the little guy.
[x] ... Rochir is currently not very well known to Kouji. He is another of the pups that Whisper looked after, but Kouji hasn't spent any time with him yet.
[x] ... Nessa and Kouji met on a chance. She was stalking frogs at her family's river, and Kouji was stopping by for a drink. Something about Nessa's personality and words caught Kouji's intrest, and she's promised to help him find a mate in return for him making sure she doesn't get lost. Recent developments, however, find them seperated. A misunderstanding has lead to Kouji's banishment from the family's territory, and resurfaced many a painful memory. Upon Kouji's return to the freelands he found Nessarose had grown. The two of them have finally found one another, and Nessa has more or less vowed that noone is going to keep her from staying by Kouji's side, as Kouji swore to Yero that fateful day.

[x] ... Kouji is Chen's eldest son. He was raised to one day take over and lead the pack in his father's place.
[x] ... Chen and Kouji do NOT have a happy father-son relationship. Kouji hopes to one day rescue his mother and bring her back with him to the freelands.

[x] ... Kouji's birthday is September 17th, 2004.
[x] ... Chen forbid Kouji from seeing any of his friends, even Whisper, who Kouji was quietly in love with.

[x] ... The wild-middle-child! Talia acts detatched, and to an extent, she is. It's something that she learned from her entire immediate family. Developing a laid back attitude made coping with things much less tiring, as she learned at the start of adolescence. She would never be good enough to live up to Chen's expectations, she would always be his second choice. It was her lack of voice, her inability to simply say "no" and stand by that choice that made her the solution to Chen's problems.
[x] ... Someday when he would step down, her father wanted one of his daughters to take up as second in command, with his son strongly leading the pack. Chen's choice for that position as beta female, none other than Trija. However, Trija didn't care for the position, and did not buy into their father's tactics. She would not be won over, would not be talked into it, would sure as hell not be forced into it, and would not change her mind. Talia has always greatly admired her sister, but especially for this. When Chen realized he would not win his youngest daughter over he turned instead to the slightly more wild, but perhaps more easily controlled (?) Talia.
[x] ... Talia was not against being with a wolf that she didn't know very well, but when her father informed her that she would be beta, and that he would choose her mate, that's when she put her paw down. Being beta and taking a mate was one thing, but she would be damned if she got stuck with one of her father's suck-ups. She did have standards, and she did have morals. She was hurt that her father tried so hard to force this decision on her, and in the end she caved under the pressure. She spoke with her mother and siblings, then fled from Chen's lands, not intending to return.

[x] ... Tsume and Talia met under... interesting circumstances in mid-July. Talia finds herself enjoying Tsume's company the more that she learns about him, which so far isn't much but at the same time is still quite a bit. He seems to have an interesting story to tell. His attitude is like the breath of fresh air she didn't realize she was waiting to take.
