This is a poll asking which is more important to you on an anime DVD, a large episode count, or a lot of extras.

well I like lots of episodes in my DVD's but it depends... like I love the previews on the DVD's, I always watch it. And also I like the clear ending and openings but that is really it for features... but I wanted to know more about the anime then I would looking for the features but it kind of depends...

I prefer a higher episode count. I'm not going to pay $20-30 for just two episodes and a ton of behind the scenes. Don't get me wrong, I love special features. I just don't want the whole DVD to be based on them.

I picked a high episode count because that's why I bought the DVD but with a few extras.

Extras are fantastic, but they're just, well, extra little things. I bought the DVD to watch the anime. If there are a couple neat interviews that give me more insight into the show and the production, all the better. But I'm not shelling out a bunch of money just to get some damn extras.

I can't stand DVDs with low episode counts. If there are fewer than four episodes (and it's not an OAV or something), Clara gets angry. You won't like Clara when she's angry. mad

I prefer the high episode count. If I'm paying 20-30 dollars for a single DVD, I'm hoping it'll keep me occupied for more than 120 minutes.

I love commentaries and trailers when they're included in a DVD though.

Extras are nice, but, with anime, I don't really care about them. I care more about the episodes than the extra stuff. I'd rather get more episodes than more extra stuff that I don't really care about. Not that I hate extras or anything, I just don't care for that many of them with anime. ^.~

For me the most important thing about anime DVDs is the episode count. I mean if the DVD costs about 20-25 dollars and it's episodes only take up an hour of time I feel like I am beeing ripped off by the companies distributing the show.

In my opinion, there are no extra features that can be better than many episodes.

confused I dunnoo....It just has to be a good DVD hokay?
A high episode count?---->what if the episodes are 3 seconds long? Isn't is quality over quantity?

A lot of extra features ------->extra features aren't even the main attraction, it's the actual anime you know..teh plot, teh characters, teh conflict.

Never bought an Anime DVD in my life but I would only buy it if I actually liked the Anime... unless I had extra money lying around... I would have to say quality over quantity on this topic. Back to you Hi no Neko. domokun
