The mare stood silently in the rain, not caring. It was her first time out since she had come to the Soquili lands, and as clever and creative as she was, she had nothing to do. Noone to talk to. No chosen destination as to where she was going. And so, she stood there, her non-existant plans washing away with everything else in the pouring rain. A green strand of her wet mane stuck to her cheek, as it always had when it was wet, and she attempted to rid herself of it by flipping her mane. Her efforts simply caused more of her mane to stick to her face and neck. Shaking her head, she sighed, for her efforts were in vain. She stood there for a while, staring at the gray sky, small puffs of steam exiting her nostrils with every breath she took.

Silently creeping out of her range the stallion playfully followed her. He would just fly so she wouldn't notice him but he believed he might have a fear of heights so he has never tried to fly. He stepped cautiously with each step he took and only took when she took a breathe to hope he didn't make any noise or hoping that if there was a noise she wouldn't hear it when she took a breath. He then let out a barely audible chuckle at her attempt to get her mane from her face and then froze where he stood hoping she hadn't noticed.

Midori quickly spun around as she heard a small noise. The rain made it slightly difficult for her to see, but she grinned. The wings of the stallion immediately caught her eye. "Disconium! Don't you know not to scare a mare like that?" She trotted closer to him, nipping at his mane playfully. "So where've you been? It seems like forever since I've seen you around."

He doesn't know whether to feel overjoyed she seemed happy to see him or dissappointed he can't sneak around very well. Either way he was still happy because she was grinning at him. "I might know better but that doesn't mean I still don't like to be playful.", he smiled while making his statement. "I've been here somewhere around here I'm pretty sure of it. I'm not very good with remembering directions and occassionally get lost often."

She thought for a moment. "Then why don't you fly up and see where you are. I'm sure it would be quite useful." In truth, she had never seen him fly, and was getting to be quite curious. Curious if he could even fly, actually. She pushed the thought out of her mind and nuzzled his cheek gently.

He thinks for a moment or two then replies cooly, "If I flew to see where I was going or where I was then I wouldn't have such the great surprise of seeing my love now would I?" He stands proudly feeling he concured that question with a better question. "Why should I fly when my love doesn't fly?"

Midori grinned, shooting back slyly, "Well perhaps this 'love' of yours would be impressed by it, hmm?" She nipped at his wing teasingly, giggling. "So who is this love you speak of so fondly?"

"Well this love of mine is the grea... She doesn't know I love her?" He starts panicing and starts getting anxiety attack. "She knows I love her and I know she loves me! Why is she not knowing who she is? She's the beauty my vision is on right now and she doesn't know who she is!" His eyes start to fill up with tears and his heart sinks like a drowning ship at sea.

Midori blinked at him. "I'm sure she knows." She nuzzled him gently, smiling softly. "And I'm certain that she loves you back." Her gaze moved from his wings to his eyes as she gently pressed her nose to his. "You worry too much, Disconium. That makes me worry for you."

"Or do I worry myself just to make you worry for me to prove to me that you love me?" He smiles at her in a confused sort of way then walks over to a tree and pulls out a pineapple and offers it to her. "I found this thing called a Pine Apple it doesn't look like an apple but I figure a pinecone and an apple had a baby and wanted you to eat it. I think they know you love apples." He stands all proudly at his conclusion about the fruit. "Besides if Midori wasn't the love of my life then I'd just be an empty shell of whatever was inside of the shell."

She tried not to giggle at his well thought out idea of what a pineapple was. "Why thank you." Looking at it, she raised a brow. Having never seen anything like it, she was naturally curious. "How are you sure that it's edable? It looks kind of odd to me." She quirked her head to the side, staring at it.

"I got an idea! I can eat it and then tell you if it's edible or not." He smiled so very proudly that he came up with a solution but then he stopped to think. "...", his mouth moved as he thunk, "If I eat it then how is it going to be a gift to you?" He started to feel upset that his idea he thought was so perfect a few minutes ago now seemed so wrong.

Midori shook her head, smiling sweetly. "You dwell too much on things. How about we split it in half?" She rolled it toward him with her hoof before nuzzling his cheek gently.

"But then how would it be a gift for you my love? If I ate some of it then wouldn't it be a gift I wanted myself and gave it to you to see if I could eat it?" He goes weak in the knees when she nuzzled him and he got a lovey gaze in his eyes that only she can seem to do to him. "You know just how to make me stop thinking." He smiled happily and kissed her on the cheek.
