Mine is Hebrew for 'honey', and it's one of the names I think would work well for a daughter one day, if I were to have one.

Dis Domnu is Latin for Rich Master, and it's just something I like.

Dis Domnu Dis Domnu is Latin for Rich Master, and it's just something I like. Yay for Latin! But, technically "Domnu" is in an incorrect case: Dominus is the nominative form to match with dis, ditis, n. Couldn't resist; we had a midterm last week. blaugh

Hmmm... well, in 9th grade, we learned about sharks in English class. I liked sharks even before that, but than I saw it could merge nicely with my abbreviations (ts).

Couldn't resist; we had a midterm last week. blaugh My translator (I do believe he majored in Roman studies) was the one who told me the name in the first place, although he admits he isn't sure if Dominus would be better suited to it. I don't know if it's correct or not either, but I like Domnu a little better than Dominus. I usually use Dominus in another name "Dominus Deus", on another forum. I like having Dis Domnu as a completely separate name. smile

Heh- I agree. Domnu does sound cooler than Dominus. Lord G-d? xd That's a bit.....different?
Mine is also a bit strange. Usually my name in first person shooter games is Phoenix, as I love the mythical creature. At lunch one time my table went around saying what animal people were reminded of when looking at another, and somebody suggested phoenix for me. I love the idea that they can heal others, as I want to be a doctor someday, and also the idea that their singing brings hope to others, as one of my goals in life is to help people. Besides that, I've always thought it would be awesome to fly, though I hate airplanes. The "dark" idea came in for a few reasons. I never really liked exceptionally bright colors like yellow and such, so I thought it would be interesting to see a phoenix that was possibly blue, black, etc, with possible hints of silver. There's a few other reasons for that as well, but that's the main one.
Lastly, the 1247 is just a string of numbers that I like. Besides that, 1+2+4= 7, and I formed a whole bunch of mathematical equations with this specific string of numbers.
I warned you it was weird. sweatdrop

I had another username that was an anagram of my real first and last names, but I stopped liking it.

So, my username is ~Spirit of Dragons~
I love dragons, so that explains the "Dragons" part. No real reason for the "Spirit" part, it just sounded good. The "~"s are there for decoration.
