this is where we share our great knowledge of the local and up comming bands of our cities. here are some of mine:
-Louisville Drunk Tank (thrash)
-Violenza (thrash)
-Assisting Sorrow (death)
-Spil (??)
-Narko (??)
-more to come-
but in my opinion local bands seem to be a hell of a lot better than the mainstream stuff.

personally i believe that local groups rock because once they hit it big, their ego gets bigger and their music begins to get crappier and more and more like everything else. mainstream can suck the d**k of George W. Bush.

Pile Of Heads This band is one of the most badass local bands I have heard in a long a** time. King Snyder This is my friends band, there really good too Dog Fashion Disco This band is badass too. They're touring with Slayer.

in minnesota theres a bunch of punk bands and that sucks so the only ones i know that are metal are Less Spoken,Obscura(my old band),and SSM

here you aretheres too many to list, but some i would like to recomend are betty x, expiration date, abodox, and undead eulogy... i met expiration date i havent yet come across a bad metal band from here heart i love seattle
