Many miles away from the Lunar Hope lies Hope Field. This area contains no buildings or structures. It is a large clearing of rich green grass, bordered by trees. The only other feature in this feild is a shallow pond, which lies in the center. Kyla found this area and decided it would make a good area to meditate or train.
((So what is the Hope Field? Sometimes, I found myself wanting to have Kyla, or other characters share dialogue and not be interupted by people comming into the Lunar Hope. Not for personal reasons, but just as a way to have action or dialogue without being interrupted by newcomers. xp Of course everyone in this guild is welcome to this area whenever they want, no matter who else is RPing at the time. It's just a big empty feild of grass with trees around it and a pond. ^^ Use this space however you like, as long as you don't destroy it. Those from outside the Lunar Hope are welcome here too of course. xp Who says characters can't cross over from time to time.

It's like...there's teeny tiny bits of water in the air and if I really really try, I can make the bits come together and make a drop...it's so weird. I don't know how to do anything else though

Hmm...you said you have to focus to gather water together...I think I might know what you're doing. Blyth, have you ever heard of an ability called Water Bending?

Mew mew, there's this skill called "bending." It's something you have to be born with to be able to do. It's like a martial art, where a person can use and manipulate an element around them. I've met a couple of benders before. The way you described controlling the water...it sounded similar. Here...let's try something.

Well...at least I think that's what you can do. Ok, see this pond? I know you haven't done much yet, but try to focus like you did on the water in the air, but focus on the water in the pond. Then, make a cup with your hands and slowly bring your hands toward yourself, but make sure you concentrate on the water when you do it. Don't worry if it doesn't work at first, mew mew.

*Blyth nods and takes a deep breath. She cups her hands and moves them the way Kyla said. At first, nothing happens. As Blyth continues to try, slowly, a small ammount of water seems to draw itself up from the pond and gather into a little ball. Blyth opens her eyes and sees it*
Kyla-za! I did it!
*As soon as she says this, the water splashes back into the pond*
Awww...come back water!

It's ok Blyth, why don't you take it easy for now. It looks like you do have the ability to water bend. You know how I've been teaching you to read? It looks like we have found the perfect subject for you to start reading about. I'm sure I have a book about element bending back at the Lunar Hope. Want to go take a look?
