 Current EventsJanuary 28th, 2008 - BABY!!!!!!! Little Naruto Akarui was born...and Anbu is determined to spoil him...Three days later she got a job.
December 7th, 2007 - OMFG! Anbu grew! Anbu is a gir~l.
November 29th, 2007 - Anbu surprised Kyoko with a gift for the baby-to-be...A baby blanket. Kyoko is convinced someone has replaced her child. And Anbu finally reveals its gender!
November 26th, 2007 - Kyoko meets up with Ka again...and this time they have their Scents with them.
September 19th, 2007 - The Akarui family moves into their new home, bought by Kyuubi...To say Anbu is glad to have its own room is an understatement.
August 23rd, 2007 - Anbu meets up with Vanyel again...and WTF?! She got bigger! Oh...and Anbu meets the 'convinced he's a god' Amahte.
July 27th, 2007 - Kyoko and Crystal go to one of the Summer Fairs, and Anbu follows to keep an eye on Kyoko...Gets caught.
June 25th, 2007 - Kyoko meets Ka'hmesh in a coffee shop.

Name: Anbu (Akarui)
Meaning: Anbu means 'dark side', often in reference to something else. When Kyoko named her, she was thinking of how Anbu reflected the dark side of fun...the side that can scare people and hurt them.
Stage: Teen

Scent: Dark Carnival
Overall Personality: Secretive, Mischievous, Cruel
Occupation: Waitress at Rhodolite Thursday. She grins and bares it....
Appearance: Anbu looks like the circus performer that everyone goes to see...She's obviously flexible, and prefers clothing that allows her to keep that flexibility. Her clothing leaves little to the imagination, and she doesn't care. Hair is black, with with what seems to be a band of stars above eyebrow level, and its dark blue eyes are far more mischievous than Kyoko was used to, but Kyoko has grown used to the looks Anbu gives everyone. Skin is slightly tanned; dark enough to be noticed, pale enough to not be 'exotic'. At work, she wears the uniform.
Personality: Anbu is...just as strange as her mother. However...they're almost polar opposites. Where Kyoko is just random, Anbu plots out nearly everything, though is no stranger to improv. To Anbu, the whole world is her stage, and she refuses to let anyone make it otherwise. Though Kyoko sometimes succeeds in stopping one of Anbu's 'performances' dead in its tracks...Anbu HATES the paper fan Kyoko made. To those who intrigue her or are close to her, Anbu can be kind...in a grudging, awkward kind of way...while those who do not catch her interest are often subjects of her crueler performances. Anbu loves secrets and keeping them...Heck, Anbu hid her gender from the entire world for seven months! That takes talent...

|Personality| Kyoko is interesting, to say the least. The first thing you notice about her is that she's either extremely energetic or extremely drained. She never does things in moderation, always the extremes. Kyoko often seems bi-polar AND ADHD, and can switch from very perky and upbeat to lower than low in mere moments. And you can't keep the girl's attention for more than five or ten minutes unless you're either very interesting or you're doing something related to things she loves. She can't stay still, and is constantly fidgeting with something while sitting or standing in place.
Music, dance, and love are her three biggest passions, with music and dance being her two biggest influences. Music can rev her up even more (yes, it's possible) or actually calm her down. She uses it to prime herself for a confrontation with someone, or as just a 'soundtrack to her life' kinda thing. And dance...when she's on the dance floor, be it official or improvised, she dances for no one but herself. It's like she's in another world when she dances. And she's learned every form of dance she can get her metaphorical hands on: ballet, belly-dance, hip-hop, tap, tribal stuff...the list goes on.
And personal space? It doesn't exist with this girl. Her normal greeting is a glomp or hug (depending on whether or not the receiving party can dodge, or will hurt her), and if you're close to her, the routine includes a kiss on the cheek. She never puts much space between her and others, and seems addicted to body heat. She constantly keeps a decent supply of candy on her, and is loved by little kids, because she has NO PROBLEM sharing said treats. Kyoko really is a confusing and strange girl...But she has her charms, as quirky as they are.

|Appearance| Kyoko is as interesting looking as her personality. Her skin is somewhere between pale and tan, and bears a few scars. Beneath her small-boned, slender frame are wiry muscles from dancing...and she seemed to have been short-changed in the T&A department...though she's gained a bit more cleavage as a side-effect of her pregnancy. She moves with a fluid grace that resembles a cat or snake, and almost seems like music made alive when she dances. Around her neck is a black dog collar with a green ‘pet tag’ that has her name on one side and her address on the other…her father gave it to her for her birthday as a gag, saying Kyoko was like a puppy.
Kyoko is fond of punkish and 'Victorian' gothic clothing, especially if they're green and black.

|Personality| Gekkou is what many would term a 'cool dad'. He's funny, gets along well with his daughter, supports her in her efforts, and is always there for her. He trusts her judgment usually, knowing that she's usually a good judge of character, and isn't one to put too many limits on her. He's a bit touchy about his age, but only because his little girl is now an adult and a new mother..and the psuedo-mother of a very mischievious Scent.

The home just got bigger. A surprise present from Kyuubi, the new Akarui home is MUCH bigger than the little apartment they once had. Gekkou has promptly claimed part of the front yard for a small garden, mostly herbs, to which Kyoko has no complaints.
