Alright, discussion thread for the amazing comedy Black Books!!
If you've seen it, just come and discuss the awesomeness of Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey, add in some awesome quotes, and tell us you're favourite episode. If you haven't seen it... you need... to buy it, right now. Just ask me and I'll explain the basic plot, there are even quite a few epi's on youtube.

That show really is just unbelievably awesome. It's hard to say which episode is my favorite, but I really like The Grapes of Wrath, The Entertainer and the one were they try to write a children's story.

I love that series so much! whee heart heart heart
I can't honestly pick a favourite episode... but if I had to choose just one scene I actually like the first episode a lot, particularly when the two religious guys come back to the shop and Manny opens the door.... and the looks on their faces... rofl
Ahem. But that's only really funny if you watch the episode I guess. There are loads of great lines... but I'll have to sit here and remember them all!

I've seen the first series..and one here and there from the other two. Let's see..From series two: Entertainer, Fever
Series 3: Manny Come Home, Elephants and Hens, moo-ma and Moo-pa, Party.
I've got them on hold at the library though..

Haha, I bought the collectors edition, which has all 3 series plus outtakes and deleted scenes from all of the series.
It's really awesome- you know the first epi of the 3rd series where Manny leaves and works in Goliath Books? well, later on, when Bernard has the sheets draped over him and he lights a cigarette and coughs and it lands in the glass of wine and goes out- he has to do SO many takes of it, becuase he keeps on missing the glass xd
My favourite would be the first series (but the last epi was a bit strange) and the third series; the second kinda lacked some of the humor the others had. Not that it was bad or anything.
Manny: *holding shiatsu massage machine to his chest* Bernard! Bernard! Bernard look! look, Bernard! Bernard! Bernard look! look! Bernard! Bernard, look! Bernard! Bernard!
Bernard: What do you want?!
Manny: Bernard! Look! I'm a prostitute robot from the future! *shiatsu machine swivels like moving boobs*

My favourites would have to be ah... Moo Ma Moo Pa, Grapes of Wrath, Coffee and Cops and Manny Come Home. But they are all awesome!

!!! I went to Dylan Moran (bernard) live last night.... and he was excellent!
It went for about 1 hour 30 mins, and he was hillarious.
Best thing ever was afterwards, because I was standing outside QPAC waiting for a lift and he walked straight past me, and then stood having a smoke talking to someone who I guess was his wife, and this is only a few metres away from me... and then they got in a cab right in front of me and left...
I'm killing myself for not saying anything though!!! I mean, he was RIGHT THERE, next to me... I didn't want to annoy him but god I wanted a handshake or an autograph or something crying crying
Heyy, least I got to see him. He's an awesome guy, he really is!!
