they are now disscussing a shortened 8th season.
maybe 13 -16 episodes.
ausellio said that at the wrap up party they were talking about it as if it was a done deal! nothings been signed yet but its looking good!
i think its a great idea! we get our show. the actors dont really have to work as much and everyone's happy because they can give our beloved show a satisfying ending!

Good they better not screw with the ending of season 7 though now becuase I would be pissed off.

I read they are definitely leaning toward 13 episodes if it gets renewed.
