So, what does everyone think about the recent events concerning Kikyou and Kohaku hanging out with one another? I think it's really interesting, and not something I would have suspected until it happened.
Kohaku defends her pretty fiercely, and expects that he will die sometime soon.
Personally, I'd like to see just a little bit of romance between the two before it all ends: as Shakespere said so aptly, "it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all." They both seem as if their fates will be not living by the end of the series - I can only hope they both find a little love before that happens.

Kohaku is convinced that the only way to destroy Naraku is to allow Naraku to take his shard. And Kikyou is hesitant about this because she knows that Kohaku might die if she were to take his shard.
So who knows what will happen. Perhaps Sesshoumaru or Inuyasha could use their upgraded swords to do something before Kikyou is forced to carry out her plan.
