It had been at least an hour of them walking. He was totally ignoring the other. If she couldn't keep up, it was her fault, not his. He hadn't picked up anything so he wasn't as quiet as he would be. Stopping carefully, he spelt some shrubs next to a huge tree.
Still nothing. It was odd. Though, he had been back talking for a while. He looked about and listened. Hearing owls above and the wind blow through the leaves. Closing his eyes he took another deep breath. This time he picked up something. The smell of deer. A female and what smelled like at least one foan.
Bingo.
His ears went flat, and he started moving more silently. They were close, well about 20 minutes ahead of them. The wind was on his side tonight, so the they had no clue they were just picked up. He carefully walked around each tree quietly. Everything had to go perfect.
This was too easy.

Akumu kept well behind him. She didn't know what Yin wanted to obtain for he never showed what he was plotting in his mind. Taking a sigh she mumbled to herself. "Yin is such an a**. He knows I didn't want to come." She slowly came upon the male, hunched down and stalking. She rolled her eyes and sat under a nearby tree. Thinking to herself she couldn't help but ask him. "What did you find? A squirrel?" She sighed a chuckle and looked up at the tree tops. Closing her eyes she could tell that he was trying his hardest to make this hunt happen so fast, yet she also could tell that Yin would never let it happen so easily.
The sky became lighter as if morning had just arose. It had been a long time since the Mwezi pack had seen the light of day and it revealed a lot more then Akumu knew was in the woods. She could clearly see the deer sitting a few yards away and shook her head. I knew Yin would do something obvious. She thought to herself as she looked back down at the male. Being eye shot from the deer they were bound to see them as well, even through Akumu's camouflage.

As she spoke, he knew what she had just done. She made their presence known to the dear. s**t.. This wasn't. Anger rose in him, yet it seemed at first they didnt' know. But sure enough..
The deer he had been stalking for a minute or so quickly popped her head up and looked in there direction. Of course, with the dawn here, it made it easy for her to see them. Her ears went down and quickly she left with her two fawns.
He snarled at the other looking back at her. Not saying a word. Ears back, he truely thought of attacking her, though he decided aginst it and followed the deer. She'd soon forget about them. Or at least, that's how it normally was. He'd have to follow her for another hour or so.
He kept a distance to make sure she wouldn't be able to see them. This was annoying. He calmed himself down pretty well. He went from a jog, into a fast walk. That way he'd be far enough behind the deer and her fawns that he would have the advantage again. Though, he hoped the wind would change.

"Yeah sure, blame it on me." Akumu mumbled to herself, rolling her eyes again. She stood up and followed him some more. Looking around her she finally cought up to him as he slowed down. "You're not gonna catch them when it's day out. It's been attempted before, you're better off waiting until night fall again." She sighed and looked towards the deer. "Asuming Yin allows it to be." She paced herself next to him, the course forest floor beat on her paws with every step. She always prefered the open field where the grass was long and soft and plenty of other Ulayas were about.

He grinned to himself. "Then you truely under estemate me, puppet." He said looking back at her. He'd caught a few in the day. It wasn't hard, but he was best at night. "But if you want to wait until night, we sleep here." He didn't want to go back. Not until he was finished. Yin made himself clear on what he wanted him to do.
"Well, we sleep up there." He looked up to at the tree next to them. It had many branches, and would be easy to take a nap. Though, he wouldn't sleep much. He didn't sleep on a hunt.

Akumu rolled her eyes again and laid down where she was. Her paws were pounding from the rough ground and made her regret joining the pack even more. Closing her eyes she wondered how long they would be out in the woods. She didn't like leaving Yin in such a state but she didn't protest against his words, she knew Houndour was the best beside him anyway.
Akumu started to prune herself, making sure her fur was clean and neat. She started to mumble to herself some more but it was barely understandable by Thona. Putting her ears down and tucking her wings close to her body she rested her head and closed her eyes. She knew sleep was far off from visiting her but she didn't care as long as they weren't walking anymore.

Thona shrugged. He looked at the other for a minute. What was her problem? Ah it wasn't his problem.... Yet. His tail swished about as he sat down and shook his head. "Look, if you want me to keep from getting annoyed, just be quiet when we are around any pray. It's the only thing I ask." He said in a polite way.
He raised an eyebrow as he stared at her.

"I really don't care if you're annoyed or not, it's your problem not mine." She remained down on the ground with her eyes shut as if she hadn't a care in the world. "My irritated has nothing to do with you." She moved her wings out and then rested them down on the ground. She didn't care what he thought or what he had to say, she just wanted the night, or day now, to be over with.

He closed his eyes. Attempting to stay calm. "It'll be your problem if you stop ruining my hunt." His tail wrapped around his feet then bobbed up and down on the ground. He was really trying to keep himself from lashing out on her. He'd save it for the pray.
Yes... Save it... Let it grow, and use it when he gets close enough to the deer. "If you didn't want to be here, then why didn't you say something? Or do you do everything your told?"

Akumu laughed a little and then spoke. "Ha, that's a joke. If I did everything I was told then I wouldn't even be in this pack to begin with." She rolled over to her side and flopped her wings down on her back. "I usually disreguard all thoughts of talking back to a god that just took out another god. It's a little common sense." She sighed another laugh and scratched her ear.

"Not really." He didn't know why he found himself talking to this female. She was useless to him at the moment, other then his only chance to get into the pack. As much as they both didn't like it, they were stuck together.
He looked about, the sun had fully amurged now. It was going to be a long time, those deer would be why out of their reach by the time they get moving again. He'd have to pick up on another deer's sent. If they were lucky, it wouldn't be that long after night. Thats when they sleep. Easy pray.

Akumu kept her eyes shup for a long time. The sun was beating down on them and felt warm on her back making her as uncomfortable as she'd been in a long time. She had lived in the dark for so long that the light burned her eyes giving her a headache.
Giving up after a while, she gave up. If they wanted to get away from each other and if she wanted to get out of the sun then they would have to suck it up and deal with each other as much as they can. Sitting up, Akumu looked around and found herself a berry bush. Sitting in front of it she began to pick off some of it's food and swallowed it down. It wasn't as good as a fresh kill but it was enough for the energy she would need to tolerate Thona for as long as she needed to.

Thona looked at her again. What was she doing? He watched her eat some berries. He didn't even ask, he'd seen others do it, but he always got sick when trying to eat them nasty things.
"Are we waiting until night, or could we just go and hunt down something?" He asked. He didn't want to just leave her and have no chance of getting into the back, so he had to go her pace, no matter how irritating it was. "We don't even have to hunt a deer. I'm sure there's a couple big boar around here." he said.
Those were quite tasty. Harder to catch, since they tend to try to chase you back, though that's part of the fun. Of course, they could always go after an Elk, but that'd need at least two hunters to take down. Unless of course it was a weak one, or a fawn. Though, it wouldnt' be too impressive bringing back a baby.

Swallowing her mouth full, Akumu looked back up at him and sighed. "We might as well get going. The sooner you get your kill the sooner we get to go back." She stood back up and wiped her chin with her paw. She turned around and started walking away from him. If he was so impatient then we should just go, as hot and sunny as is it ... She really despised the day time and didn't think Yin would go to such lengths to mess him up. Then she wondered to herself how he even knew that he was stalking. Well, he is a god after all.
Sniffing the air she looked around for the better direction to stroll off to, though she knew Thona would change their leading once he caught up anyway. Taking note of this she just continued walking the way she started, stepping over branches and twigs along the way.
