He has NEVER seen her fight!
Think about it.
-In the Forest of Death, Sasuke was unconscious when Sakura fought. When he woke up and saw her beaten, who knows what he thought. "Tch. Couldn't take care of herself again.. time to kick someone's a**."
-During the Chuunin preliminaries, he missed her fight with Ino because he was once again unconscious. When he awoke, she was no longer participating in the Chuunin Exam. Again, who knows what he thought. "Too weak to make it."
-Hell, even in the filler arc before Sasuke left the village, he was unconscious when she saved him from falling.
[Yeah, I included that filler, yet I'm not going to include the movie where he was actually fighting with her, because that was.. major filler.. >_>]
All Sasuke's really ever seen her do is jump in front of someone, cry, or stand there with a kunai.
And let's not forget the time-skip! Sasuke was kept from seeing Sakura's strength because Yamato jumped in front of her.
Is this being done on purpose? Will Sasuke EVER see how strong Sakura truly is? Could Kishimoto actually be preventing Sasuke from finding out because he has something planned?

I saw a thread like this on simply love~ Though I can't remember what they said about the matter so-
I think he'd be surprised, he always thought of her as weak and to see her that strong would be a major shock for anyone!
I have a feeling it was on purpose, Kishimoto is always full of surprises, so whose to say this isn't one too?
I can't wait to see the look on his face! xD Maybe he'll be jealous that he can't do that?! o__o;;

It would be great if it was on purpose, and we're actually in for a treat in the future. ninja I'd kill to see Sasuke vs. Sakura, but that seems.. highly unlikely. That, and as much as I love Sakura, I honestly don't think she'd be able to hold her own against Sasuke when he's at the level that he is.
But apparently Naruto and Sasuke have now surpassed their teachers.. maybe when Sakura finally surpasses Tsunade, Sasuke will be there? >>

I've had this convo before, and you've pointed out all the right points. So yes, Sasuke could've considered her weaker because he'd never seen her fight. (Though in all honestly, I think if he'd SEEN her fight her all, she'd receive a small compliment from him...because yes, he is considerate of her and her abilities. -.- I doubt I have to explain that all to you.)
As for him not seeing her strength, I think it IS on purpose...for the time-skip. I mean, think of Naruto and Kakashi's reaction. They were obviously shocked (and with Kakashi never having left the village, I'm sure he knew SOMETHING...and still so shocked!)
Since we got such extreme reactions, I ouldn't be suprised if the same was brought about with Sasuke. Of course, he's not going to " burning_eyes ", you know, but I'm sure he'll show obvious shock.
However, I think Sakura's true strength displayed to Sasuke will be after he's back into the village. It just seems more fitting. She wants to spar him, she gets mad at him and attacks, or something of the sort, and she goes all out, and he's just like, "Wtf...did I miss something?!"

I remember seeing this on Simply Love! Well first of all, I don't think that Sasuke believes that Sakura is weak. We can only assume that because he was always protecting her. I thought that at first until Karin was introduced. Along with having special abilites she must to be strong for Sasuke to want her on his team, but he protected her last chapter. I think that's just his will to protect, not because he thinks anyone is weak. Anyway, I don't think he's really thought of her abilities actually. But all of this is my stupid opinion. Yeah going on a tangent there...

I think this is being done on purpose. If it's not, it's not fair!! scream I want Sasuke to see Sakura fighting so badly.
That aside, hopefully in their next reunion Sasuke will see what he left behind, and a great SasuSaku moment will follow.
Seriously, Kishi better be planning something.

I don't think he believes her to be weak. :/ Though you have a point. I don't think he's ever seen her seriously fight. O-O

I agree with -[Neji][Hina]-.
I don't think Sasuke considers Sakura to be weak, even if he never seen her fight, witch by the way, I starting noticing that watching the earlier episodes.
ANYWAYS.
A Sasuke vs Sakura would seriously kick a**. xD
But I'm guessing if won't happen.
Sasuke's gonna have to eventually see Sakura fight.
Should be interesting though.

I think I made a comment before that Sakura is weak, and Sasuke thinks so, becuase he's always PROTECTING HER.
Even if she's ready to fight, SOMEONE runs in the way and stops her, or tells her to move, or just doest it themselves. SHE'S NOT GIVEN THE CHANCE.
As such, she learns to rely on people. It's not her fault. What can seh do when she's being compared to two people who have insane power ups like Sharingan, Curse Seal and Kyuubi? It's not fair to her.

You're right.
Sakura is always being protected she never gets the chance to fight, unless Sasuke or Naruto are hurt or knocked out..
witch I can only think of one time that actually happend.

I guess I was just thinking back to the chapter where he said she was 'weaker/worse' than Naruto. :/

I forgot about that chapter (although the translation I read was worse, it's pretty much the same thing). But that scene with Karin changed my mind.
However, we don't know if she's strong. She might just be able to "find" things.

I don't think Sasuke thinks Sakura is weak. Maybe physicaly her doesn't see her as very strong, but he knows she is strong in other ways. She may not have been able to show Sasuke her power after the time-skip, but she charged at him with the full intent of hurting someone she loves in order to do the right thing, and that takes true strength.
I believe Sasuke sees this too.
I also believe sasuke is aware of Sakura's strength in chakra control ( Seeing as he commented before on how good her genjutsu skills were - I think that's what it was. ), and if he knows anything about Tsunade, it might be quite possible he could suspect her of have strength like that. Maybe. *shrugs*
I really can't see Sasuke being very suprised at Sakura's progress, not even a little bit... but I don't mean that in a bad way.
