I think that Lenny and Carl are secretly going out. We always see them talking, walking, and eating together. They probably are gay, and in the closet.

It seems like the writers started making Lenny gay a few years ago, he never was in the beginning. Gay or not though, you gotta love Lenny.

They hint at it a lot, and oddly enough, Carl and Lenny do have "something" going on. xd It wouldn't suprise me one bit if Lenny is gay.
He reminds me of how Smithers is with Mr. Burns. It just seems so obvious.

I don't know. The show makes fun of his relationship with Carl a lot... and he gets picked on by other characters sometimes... but that doesn't prove anything. He's just suspicious.

I believe Lenny's love for him goes beyond gay or straight. It consumes him. Kinda stalker-y sweet.
(though in the first couple of seasons he was straight but his affection for his friend just kinda grew)
