Do your parents watch Naruto with you? Do they know about the Akatsuki and such? About Dei-Kun?
My family sure does. Well, add least my Mom, brother and cousin do. My Dad's all: 'Why are you watching this junk? All the emn look like sissies!' which makes me mad. evil He called Dei-kun tons of stuffs. Meanie.
Anyways, my little brother loves it only for the action, my mom for the plot and Kakashi...O-o
My cousin for Sasuke. xD
And me for the Akatsuki. All together we gather around the computer to watch the Shippuden. So...yah. xD

My family knows about Naruto, but my mom doesn't like, she rants about the good old days with Tom and Jerry, and about how she does't like the "cartoons I watch". I went off on her one time about how anime isn't a cartoon, or is it? Anyway my sis thinks it's lame, her friend knows some stuff. But the only people I can reaslly talk about Naruto/Akatsuki/Deidara is the Friend Boyfriend cause he really is a super Narutard, so I talk about it with him and the rest of the family is all like WTF what are they talkin about, and I just laugh. I probably said that in one of my posts as well. lol.

Sometimes my mom watches Naruto with me. It's pretty awkward.. cause she doesn't know what's going on. XD And my mom always interrupts and ask these weird questions. o_O But it makes watching the dub more enjoyable. =.=;; (A Saturday night with nothing to do? Yep. Watch Naruto on TV) My sister doesn't like Naruto.. she likes more unpopular stuff.

Wata Yuuko Sometimes my mom watches Naruto with me. It's pretty awkward.. cause she doesn't know what's going on. My mom knows about it and my brother does, too. My cousin would watch it, but he doesn't like series that run for a long time. It's okay. My mom knows about it, because I'll make her watch junk with me. I also never stop talking about it... >: P So, she has no choice but to know of the shows' existance. : D

My mom occasionally watches Naruto with us. When she can't, she claims to listen to the words, but it's not really the same. When she does watch it, she claims they "talk too much". xD
My brothers are the ones who got me addicted to Naruto. Yes, two of them. My life is hell, but that's irrelevant. The youngest turned it on when there was nothing on. My brother, who's in the middle of our ages, got addicted soon after that, and because of his constant repetition of the series, I started in.
As for my dad... he occasionally walks by when it's on TV on Saturdays. He called Sandaime a "beekeeper", and Kakashi-sensei a "bank robber". I love his little nicknames, but they interfere with me hearing the TV.
And my parents know about the Akatsuki, as I always blast the Shippuden episodes on my dad's laptop. He always yells at me for that...
I also keep begging my dad to buy me the Akatsuki clothes off the Internet. He just wants to know why I want to go around looking like "those freaks". He says the same thing, because I also want the Konoha Jounin outfit. Needless to say, my life as a cosplayer is not really going in a good direction... I always have to sneak anything I want on his credit cards. Oddly, he doesn't notice...

My mom watches the dub with me somethimes on Saturday night. And she'll ask tons of questions. She knows about my Deidara obsession, she probably knows everything I do about him by now, I talk about him that much xDD
And she knows all the Akatsuki members xDDDDD

ShadowOwl My sister calls them "freaks" too. But I don't listen. Anway you're so lucky have you ever gotten caught? lol. I hope they start selling AKatsuki cloaks at the Hot Topic I'm near. Not so poseurs can go read on Wikipedia one day, buy the cloak, and autmatically be Akatsuki's biggest fan. It's just that that's the only way I'd get one ;__;

Honestly I don't care if people buy it because they think it's "In" or "cool", that's their problem if they make a fool of themselfs when someone asks about it and they don't know.
