It's just Sec. Thay, Jast and Caan all got zapped into the void. Only dalek Sec initiated the emergency temporal shift.

Sec was my favourite Dalek, even before the others died. I named my remote control Dalek after him. And then he lived. Whoopee!
Though the other part of me is going 'Blurk! More bloomin' Daleks!'.

Oh no, Dalek Sec wasn't the only survivor, just watch clips of series 3 on www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho The entire (well at least two besides Sec) Cult survived. Davis himself said that Sec wouldn't be alone. And you can sightly see Dalek (Thay, Jast, or Cann) in an elevator, on the next time trailer also on the address above P.S. DALEK SEC RULES #1!!!!  EX-TER-MIN-ATE!!!!

I think those are jsut regular, standard issue daleks.
Sec's been making more.
I wonder how Sec's been making daleks confused

Crumpet Lord I think those are jsut regular, standard issue daleks. Sec's been making more. I wonder how Sec's been making daleks confused .... when a mummy dalek and a daddy dalek love each other very much.... *shot* sorry xd ive had waaaay to much sugar today. still.. yes... i wonder too. maybe its more.. filtered human mush.

Since certain people have expressed a desire to avoid seeing spoiler information, I have renamed this thread to hide the fact that the Daleks are returning in the upcoming story 'Daleks in Manhattan'. Of course everyone and his mother already knows that they're in the story because of the trailers and such, but anyway... mrgreen In the future, please refrain from putting spoiler info in the title of threads.
