Asimai's Abilities:
-Calling Fire-
Asimai has the ability to create fire. He cannot create something from nothing so the way this ability works is his body generates the heat (so when his ability is active he gets super hot to the touch) and ignites unstable atoms in the air to create and maintain fire. He can also use said atoms to create big fiery bomb-like explosions. So long as he's in a room with oxygen, this ability can work. The ability does have its downfalls – by his body generating extra heat, the strain on it is quite real. Often times, if he maintains the fire for too long (his endurance will increase as he gets older) he will begin to lose weight. While many would think this is a blessing, Asi is already thin and thus it can be dangerous if he allows it to continue for long periods of time.
-Plague-
Djinn were thought to be responsible for diseases and for the mania of some lunatics. Asimai has the ability to 'infect' people with disease or illness or, if he so chooses, augment their mental state for a certain period of time. As a young one, the ability is so mild he cannot cause more than a common cold. As he gets older and trains his ability, he will be able to spread more dangerous diseases and plagues.
However, the diseases that he gives a person are not contagious unless he wills them to be at a high cost of energy. This ability also has a cost – as he must call the disease into him to infect, Asimai will suffer from it as well at a very small level. If he's spreading, say, chicken pox he will gain the itch for a short amount of time. If he's spreading the plague, bits of his flesh may shift color and he could feel fatigued. These effects do not last incredibly long but needless to say he must be careful with what he spreads. He's unable to kill humans with this ability until Sorcerer/Ancient stages. This ability is also not used very much because, if it is, disease WILL build up in his system and take him down for a few days with a mixture of symptoms from the diseases he spread. Not pleasant.
He must also be in direct contact with the person he's infecting if it's anything other than an air-borne illness.
-Invisibility -
While he's lost his ability to be fully invisible, Asimai can, if startled, become somewhat translucent. Not completely invisible, mind you, and definitely not intangible, but harder to see and detect with the naked eye– thus harder to harm. This ability is strongest during the day as Djinn were said to disappear in the light of dawn. This is a passive ability and cannot be controlled.
-Wishes-
This ability is tricky. Those who are around him must be careful what they wish for. If one does not watch their words, chances are that they'll end up with a hot dog on the end of their nose or a very angry rain cloud storming on them.
In other words, Asimai has the ability to manifest wishes (especially if they're not carefully worded wishes as Djinn were known tricksters). Even if a wish IS carefully worded, the Djinn is likely to twist it horribly (I.E. Wish for wealth and get coins that will disappear in a certain period of time). This ability is innate and cannot be turned off.
However, there ARE stipulations. He cannot meddle with free will and he cannot bring the dead back to life. He also cannot grant his own wishes. Not only this, if one wishes to 'rule the world' Asimai is unable to give them the actual world. They're likely to have a globe and crown fall on their head. His ability has natural blocks that will stop him from granting large-scale wishes or wishes that are seen as 'too powerful' to bestow.
One person cannot wish for more than 3 things in a given month and they may not wish for more wishes.
-Servitude-
This isn't so much an ability as it is a weakness. Djinn were bound to those who know their true name. If one knew a Djinn's true name it meant a life of servitude until released (through a wish) or until death. This has carried over to his new life. Asimai's true name must never be known and he's bound to be obedient to his guardian's wishes until such time when someone else learns it. Thus, he's a very well behaved boy (by Ali's standards) even if he does not want to be. This does not mean that he cannot act of his own free will. He can, if he wants to exhaust himself, go against the word of his father. However, it does take strength and he will not be able to fight against it until he is at least a kid. That means Ali does not have to deal with the terrible twos. Needless to say, Asimai will never give out his real (or at least full) name. In other words? He goes by Asi.
