 She wasn't happy. For days she had felt out of sorts to the point where she had avoided everyone. Running had been out of the question and the thought of eating anything had sent horrible chills trailing down her spine to the point where she had simply given up on thinking about it. She had settled on drinking water from a small pond that was warmed by the sun. The warmth made a difference; not kicking nearly as hard as cold water would.
Eventually she had forced herself back up onto all fours, roaming back towards the lake where she hoped that someone would be able to tell her what was wrong. Was this the price one paid for freedom? Maybe she had eaten something wrong... Or had too much cold water after running like she'd been warned not to do.
She paused by a large tree, dipping her head down to nibble lightly on some flowers. For once her insides didn't seem to revolt. Good... Maybe everything would be alright afterall.

He had been looking for Atsila for a few days but the mare was rather tricky to catch when you actually wanted her attention. He needed to at least make sure she was alright and he couldn't do that if she was no where to be found.
Trotting along the river he noticed it start to widen as it rolled into the lake. She had to be there somewhere. Her family was there and for all that she loved her freedom he had a feeling she wouldn't wander too far from her family for too long. Remy probably wouldn't be too happy if she stay away too long either.
As he walked he caught sight of a familiar form and grinned. "Trying to play hide and seek with the world now?" He headed toward her at a steady trot so that should she run he could pick up his pace and catch up to her.

She was too uncomfortable to run at the moment and, even if she hadn't been, she wouldn't have. "Ah ain't tryin' t'do nothin' like that, Nuka. What makes you think Ah'm doin' somethin' like that?" Her brow lofted slightly as she turned her head towards the stallion, trying her best to give him a smile.
"Jus' taken a bit o'a breather... Enjoyin' th'flowers. They don't taste all that bad." Another light smile was given as she lowered her head to take another nibble. Something about her seemed different. She knew that, of course. She felt different and it wasn't the good sort either as far as she was concerned. Whatever it was, she hoped it passed.

"You've been missing for a few days. I'd call that playing hide-n-seek." He chuckled as he stopped just a bit away from her. He could smell something on her but he couldn't figure out what. It wasn't something he recognized even if he thought he knew he should know.

"Ah've been gone for longer b'fore an' no one's said nothin'." She snorted softly, giving her head a light toss. "Been a big more than a few days since Ah last seen you, Nuka... Didn't anyone ever tell you that hide-n-seek takes more than one player?"

He walked around her and noticed something. She looked a little rounder than usual. "Atsila ... you haven't been eating too much lately have you?" He doubted that was the case. She didn't seem like one to ruin the ability to run for something else.

"Ah haven't been eatin' much o' anythin' lately." Her brow furrowed as she snorted softly, half tempted to kick at the stallion due to the way he was eyeing her. "There somethin' wrong, Nuka?"

No, oh he was going to laugh if his suspicions were true. Coming back around so he could face her he grinned. "Feeling under the weather then? A little less hungry and a little more tired?" Oh he'd probably deserve a kick for this but if she didn't know what was going on then he could at least get a little fun out of it.

She continued to glare at him as he described the way she had been feeling as if he knew. "Ah don't see why it's any o' your concern how Ah've been feelin', Nuka." She snorted, giving her head a haughty toss as she turned away from him. Stupid stallion. Didn't know when to just leave a mare alone...

He tossed his head and laughed. "I think it's very much my concern how you've been feeling." So he was right and that was what he'd noticed on her. "Considering it's at least half my fault."

"It ain't none o' your concern. Ah probably jus' ate somethin' funneh. Ah feel jus' fine." She snorted once more, tail twitching in annoyance as she turned to glare yet again. She was a poor liar. Even if she had eaten something she still felt dreadful. For the first time since 'growing up' she found herself almost wanting her mother.

"I doubt you ate anything funny." He shook his head and leaned over to nose her shoulder. "I can smell it on you even if you haven't noticed yet." Of course she probably hadn't had that explained to her. "Glaring at me's not going to change it."

She quickly turned her head to n** at him as he came close to her shoulder. She was in no mood to be touched and the more time she spent around Nuka the more foul that mood became. "Change what? What are you talkin' 'bout, Nuka?"

"I'm talking about why you don't feel good. Heard when you've got little ones growing inside of you it makes you feel off for a while." Seemed like a logical thing too. Having something else in there would have to make you feel off.
