Malen sat in the tree on the topmost branch. She leaned back and rested her head on her hands. SHe stared into the sky. The sun slowly set and the moon rose.

Phara walked into the back looking up at rising moon. She sat down by the door way just watching the sun set.

Jack had made his way to the tower, climbed every single set of stairs- clambered out of the window, and perched atop the roof, with the best view of the moon and night sky. The melancholy vampire began to sing to himself, hauntingly sweet voice lifting to the sky, before decending into the grounds, winding about the yard, and inside, though it was very muffled. Jack loved singing, he found it to be the best way to express his thoughts, especially when he was alone. The almost sickly vampire's silver hair reflected the moonlight in a near halo, and his white skin positively glowed.

Phara glanced up at the source of the sound and sigh. This place kind of creeped her out and Jack singing didn't help much.

Jack felt a pair of eyes on him and quieted his voice, though now the only sounds were the winds whipping through the trees, howling in pain, and the sound of frogs and crickets, calling for their loves. It was a sound befitting the night and the moon, if a little unnerving. He recognized the vampire below him as one of the ones who had tried to set him up with the pink haired woman...what was her name again? Malen.
Jack had the hinting suspicion Malen didn't like him too much. He sighed, some things cannot be helped. The bony vampire slid from his perch on the roof, falling down several stories to the floor below, miraculously landing unhurt on the ground below, beside Phara. He stood, peering at her with soulless eyes. "Good evening."

Phara glanced up and noded. "Evening Jack." She lifted an eyebrow. "Pleasant night isn't it though is their a reason your looking at me like that." She flicked back a piece of blue hair. "It's a little distrubing."

Jack's eyes, if someone looked at them closely, did not have a discernable iris, pupil or sclera, each was the same shade of obsidian. Though he did have substance there, his eyes did not reflect light, rather sucked them in, drawing the gaze down into what seemed like empty pits.
The skeletal vampire glanced away from Phara, sending his empty gaze out to the grass around him. "I cannot help it, I'm afraid. If my eyes bother you so, I shant look at you again." He said, heaving a sort of helpless sigh. He could not tell why he had been born this way, why he was so different from everyone else, and why an air of melancholy always followed him around like a dejected ghost. The best he could manage was to treat everyone with common courtesy and respect, and hope they provided the same.
"I sense your unease, though this night is indeed a pleasant one." He said, turning his gaze to her shoes, "Is something bothering you?"

"Forgive me." was all Jack said in his defense. It was true, on occation he had been known to wierd people out, usually from staring at them for too long. He stood completely still, gloved hands neatly clasped behind him. Phara's voice drifted to him again, and his ear twitched in response.
"You can always return to the place we lived before. Beat has not forbidden it." He replied simply, eyes shifting to watch the female vampire tease at her hair, a nervous habit, he supposed. In truth, he liked this place, the tower became his haunt, not only because the interior marvelously echoed his voice, but he seemed to have an affinity for it, somehow.
"Mmm...This, creepy atmosphere as you so aptly named it seems to suit the house, I think. This area isn't nearly as forboding during the daylight hours. I would love to see the estate shrouded in fog...or snow." he added, amused with Phara's hands, so simple, so oddly dainty as they pulled through the strands of her hair.

"Guess I could but I feel like giving this place a chance besides me and Kenji have our own room together." She smiled removing her hands from her hair clasping them in her lap. "Their are so many of our own kind here so it is not that bad." A mischivious grinned cross her face. "Tried talking to Malen?"

Jack peered at Phara, suprised. "You two have a shared room? How fortunate. Kenji seems very nice to me." He said, a faint smile crossing his lips. Young romance, how quaint. Dark eyes sought the moon, soulless orbs absorbing the cool rays. Jack counted the visable craters absently, wondering at the asteroids that pummled the orbiting rock.
"Yes, I suppose it isn't bad at all, though some of our bretheren are less than..." Jack's voice tapered off as he searched for the proper word, "Courteous."
Jack glanced down to Phara, and rose a slender silver eyebrow at the expression on her face. What was that there for? "Mm, I have not seen Malen in quite some time." He said, recounting the occation of which he spoke with her, "But I do not think she likes me, much." He offered. While they did engage in semi pleasant comversation, Malen had not exuded much...happiness? To be speaking with the tall vampire. Ah, well. "How is Kenji doing? I have not spoken with him recently." Jack queried, eager to shift the conversation from himself and Malen.

"Malen not the easiest person to get a long with. I don't think she like a lot of people or she just likes to be alone." Phara shrugged her shoulder. "Kenji is doing good though."
