Karasu meanders down the tree, Imriel a few steps behind, doing her best not to drop her book.

"Would you like me to hold that for you, Imri? It looks heavy." Rasu patted the little girl on the head as they continued to the bottom of the tree.

"Nn.." Imriel shook her head vigorously. "I'm.. ok."

As they reached the base of the tree Karasu turned back to those following. "Everyone set? I brought some food, but I didn't count on having more people along..."

Stopping just beside Rasu, she looks over her shoulder at the others. "Well, this could be a problem." She chuckles despite herself, and her voice is thick with amusement. "I hope you've all eaten dinner!"

Alex took in a breath and shook her head. The trip down the tree wasn't bad, just a little breath-taking. She had a fear of heights... and was a bit out of shape. "How long do you suppose this trip will last? I don't think I'll need to eat anything for awhile... but no promises there" She let out a weak grin and bit her lip.

chirigami blinked, her head tilted upwards in amazement in the vast size of the tree, "wow..." then she stopped when the comment of food was mentioned. "Oh, I'll be fine," She started, "Already ate, it'll last me a while.. just need water." Chiri's eyes closed as her head tilted with a smile, she would have patted the water bottle in the little pouch near her hip... but her hands were a bit reoccupied with holding a certain little bundle of hyper.

Orihime blinked at the subject of food and then her attention span prompted her to swat in the air at Oliver again.

(( Rasu's gone for pizza, so I'm going to lead until she gets back. ))

"Well then, if everyone's good for food then let's be off!" She turns and points into the forest, looking over her shoulder to talk to the group. "The portal to Sabilasi is that way, the same one from the rabbit hole fiasco, if any of you were here." With that, she sets off in the indicated direction at a leisurly pace, humming a lively tune as she walks.

Avelena rolled her eyes but smiled thoughtfully as she readjusted her holding on the tiny creature in her arms. If she hadn't dug around in the innards of a demon she wouldn't have Oliver, so it seemed like a good trade. She smiled over toward Koniryu who'd been with her group and had held off the great beast while the moved forward. It had been quite the incident indeed. She moved forward at a vigorous speed and even picked up a bit on the tune Naien had began humming and followed it as best she could.

NOrmally, Kujaku would have loved to be the centre of attention. This time, however, he slunk along quietly, keeping himself just out of sight, but still trailing Imriel. That book was intrigueing him almost as much as th e other Ieldi was. Why did she protect it so closely?

He was glad he'd woken when he did, or he'd have missed this opportunity entirely. As it was, he'd barely had time to pull on the flowing tabard-style tunic that Youko had gotten him and race down the tree to try and follow them. Instinctively, he shied back from the ground itself, biting on his lower lip as he watched to see what the others would do. When they left the tree... he steeled himself and started to follow.
