 If I could escape And re-create a place as my own worldPeople have many thoughts about what really means to save the world. Since I joined this guild I haven't really seen topics that I thought were about saving the world. They were opinions about a topic in the world.
What does "Saving the world" mean to me? Saving the world to me would basically treating it better. Stop cutting down rain forests, stop poluting the world, stop breeding cows, stop the mass production. We are a mammal that revolves around ourselves and our survival. Every mammal, species for that matter, is revolved around that. We're so into our own survival that we are destroying others. If we break down our world more than we are going to collapse at one point or another.
What does it mean to "save the world" to you? And I could be your favorite girl Forever, perfectly together

I guess it could refer to that. Saving the World means more like saving humanity to me.

The world needs acts not unfufilled dreams. Such a brilliant topic! How can we accomplish something that we don't even know what we are accomplishing?
To me, it means making the earth save for everyone and everything. No more ozone killing, no more slavery, no more genocides, no more genetically growing things, no more feeding people disgusting things like high-fructose corn-syrup (okay, that last one is a bit odd). No more chopping down the rain forest, no more polluting... There's a list but bottom line is 'make the world safe for everyone and everything.'

No more ozone killing, no more slavery, no more genocides, no more genetically growing things, no more feeding people disgusting things like high-fructose corn-syrup (okay, that last one is a bit odd). No more chopping down the rain forest, no more polluting... There's a list but bottom line is 'make the world safe for everyone and everything.'

To Zach's comment, saving humanity is the least we have on our shoulders. We're destroying the world and you are thinking about saving humanity? We are nothing but lowly mammals who shouldn't have the brain compacity that we do. And I could be your favorite girl Forever, perfectly together

Yes, there are groups out there trying to make a difference but I'm talking about majority vs. minority here.

If I could escape And re-create a place as my own worldIt makes me sad knowing that we're the only ones who can fix the things we've done bad. There's not enough influence out in the world. Too many people think it's "uncool" to save the planet. Here's a great site on living green. I saw a book at Chapters the other day with better information, it was $10 so I think I might go back and buy it. www.livinggreen.com
