The grey adult moved slowly around the bones to look out towards the Pridelands. His pack hated lions no matter where they were from infact his pack hated anyone and anything that moved unless it was a hyena and bowed down to Mafa, or at least that was how he saw it.
He didn't hate any of them. He was a softy amoung the hyenas and kept to himself most of the time. It seemed to make more sense to keep to himself then it did to do anything else, if they saw that he hated to fight and all the other things that he avoided then he would probably be thrown straight out the pack.
His light blue eyes searched the area and upon seeing no one he decided to curl up close to some of the bones that created large haunting shadows on the ground. This was his home, avoiding the young pups and the wild dog slave and all the lions that also shared the graveyard. A strange place for such a peaceful creature to live.

Toma had no idea how she had ended up in this God forseaken place, but there she was. And she was scared. More scared than she had been in a long time. She walked through the bone scattered ground, trying to find a way out, though she had the sinking feeling she was just going further in.
But then she saw someone moving among the bones. Another hyena. Toma was naive and usually oblivious, but she knew how to be cautious, and set it to use in the situation at hand. She moved silently towardss him, trying to watch him and see if he was perhaps mean in some way. She couldn't imagine someone living here who wasn't mean, though.
Snap! Her position was given away in a heartbeat as her foot broke a small bone beneath it. She cringed at the sound and her heart raced as she waited for themale to turn and see her. She had a fleeting idea of running, but her feet seemed to be glued to the ground.

The noise came just as he had settled himself down and was soon getting upto run especially if it was one of the new pups so the delight in seeing a female who was also a stranger was something of a relief but he knew females had a temper on them, so he was cautious.
He walked towards her with his head bowed in a submissive posture, this normally worked on most females as they would just let him be ignored or something that would just mean that he needent do anything.
"Hello there miss." He was polite and respectful, he was one who obviously knew how to treat a lady.

Toma had no idea what to make of this male. She had never been approached like this before. She took a tentative step back, looking at him with her fear filled eyes. "H-hello.." She said softly, blinking a few times.
The small female didn't want to look like she was lost, though it was obvious in everything she did. She wondered if she could trust this male, and figured she'd start out learning about him by asking his name. "I'm Toma. Who're you..?" She asked softly.

He nodded to her as she said his name and a smile crossed his face, "I am Ahsante, it is nice to meet you Toma. Are you new to the pack?" He hadn't seen her before and surely one so brightly coloured would be remembered?
He looked her over again and after making himself sure that he didn't know her he just smiled again and waited for her answer, after all she was the only one who could tell him anything about her.

She quickly shook her head, blinking. "I am not part of any pack." She said, looking around. She didn't smell too many others around here, but perhaps the recent rain had washed away the scents? She shivered at the thought of intruding on a pack that lived in such a dreary place.
"I've wandered by accident, I'm afraid. I'm terribly sorry for intruding on your lands." She said softly, her head lowered in an apologetic stance.

Ahsante just smiled, "Its not my pack so don't worry about it. I am just part of the pack, Mafa runs it. Oh just as a warning there is a yellow hyena about I can't recall her name but I know that she isn't the nicest of creatures and you seem rather nice so you should try and avoid her." He looked at her and wondered a little.
"Have you ever lived in a pack?" He was curious, she seemed so brightly coloured, surely it would be a danger for her to live on her own?

Toma shook her head, and found herself glad she had run into him instead of the yellow creature he referred to. "No, not that I can recall, anyway. You see, I lost my meory when I was very young." She told the tale as if talking about the weather, obviously it didn't effect her much. Or at least, not while she was still scared and lost.
"How long have you lived here?" She asked, trying to be polite, although she would have preferred yelling at him to help her get out of this scary and dangerous place.

Ahsante watched her and listened to what she said. He decided that he should get her out the graveyard and then talk to her, at least then she might be a little happier.
"I haven't lived here too long, a month or so. Anyway, follow me and I will get you out of here. You are far too happy to stay here for too long." He smiled and turned to lead her away, hoping that she would follow him.

Toma sighed with relief and trotted up to his side to follow him. "Thank you so much." She said with a smile, her spirits already lifted. She hoped she hadn't been rude, she practicaly told him she was terrified of his home land.

Ahsante hadn't found her rude, after all he didn't really like it here either though for now it was safe and better then being out there alone.
"How did you end up finding this place?" He had to ask, that way he might be able to stop other nice wanderers from making the mistake of wandering into these lands. It wasn't a wise thing to do.

(I am SO sorry this took me so long to reply to. DDD: )
Toma trotted along beside him, glad to be leaving. She smiled at him until he spoke, then she looked a little ashamed. "Actually, I got lost." She said with a small laugh. "I was wandering around, but then I lost my surroundings and wound up here." She was glad she hadn't met some kind of insane hyena that was protective of the lands.
