It was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky and the buzz of people enjoying a spring away from their normal lives filled the oceanside boardwalk. Wasn't far off that people were lounging in the sun, surfing and just enjoying the hot weather, sandy shores and cold ocean water. A faint breeze did cut through the area, cooling those who were not on the water at the moment.
Halcyon, was one of those, he was there on vacation with his father who was enjoying the spelunking of the inner island cave systems. The volcano that dominated the island wasn't even dormant, it was just flat dead and safe for exploring. Of course, Cordain was born underground so that's where he felt most at home.
Halcyon on the otherhand was in a pair of knee-length board shorts and a pair of flip flop sandals, the life with his father showing quite prominantly as the young teen was already well toned, although he lacked any tan so had quite a pale skin tone. He was exploring the shops of the boardwalk, having just arrived. Unaware that Cordain had also paid for Isdra's family to have a hotel down by the ocean for a week as well.

Paen huffed in frustration as he continued the heated arguement with his daughter. "I said no. It's final." Thanks to all the leeway he had given her as a child, she now thought she was commander of the world. Which, if she wasn't the daughter of a poor man, probably would have been the case. His daughter just seemed to have that sort of scary air about her.
Speaking of poor father, this whole vacation just oozed the word 'poor.' Plane ticket, hotel room, any other annoying fees you can think of, all paid for by a rich man. Though, his daughter didn't know that. Both of the older men decided to keep it a bit of a secret for his daughter. He 'won' a trip here, though he was sure that his daughter was going to figure it out quiet soon. She was a demon like that...
"Oh stop complaining! You're such a dad, pops. How do you think the ladies are going to like that?" The pink haired girl shrugged him off and turned, grabbing a pair of denim short-shorts and a light orange tank top. "There, happy? I have pants and a top. Not like it makes much difference." He gave up. It was a fruitless battle and it was quite obvious nothing was to come of his struggles. A sigh and a nod was all he gave her before sending her off.
Once out of sight of the hotel, Isdra striped back down to her bikini top, stashing her red tank top in the large purse she had brought with her. It held everything. Clothing, money, jewelry, many things. "Ugh. Pops has become such a pest these days." She whined as she walked down toward the beach. It's so freaking crowded. Though, what was she to expect, it was a public beach.

Several teens were already paying attention to Halycon as he walked past, a rather unique looking young man at this point. They were giggling, some of the girls blushing, it appears Halcyon was going to end up a gorgeous man like Cordain. Halcyon however, was either clueless to it all, or just ignoring it as he was looking at a surfboard store, "Hmm...I do need to get a proper board..." he rubbed his chin then stopped.
He frowned slightly, he felt something familiar, a structure that was dear to him in crystalline shape, he turned and found a familiar pink haired woman traveling among the boardwalk. That sparked a grin from Halcyon and he disappeared into the crowd briefly, only long enough to find a stand selling tropical flowers, buying a pink orchid.
Once purchased, his steps were swift, and he was more than capable of running silently even in flip flops, would make one wonder what else he was learning from Cordain aside from exercising habits. He caught up to Isdra and in one swift motion, slipped the orchid behind her right ear before stepping away and off. He was back at the board shop, looking at the boards in the window in the next moment. However his white hair was like a beacon, very obvious and apparent among all the dark haired natives.

A cold, organic item slipped behind her ear and in almost the same instance she turned around. "What the...?" Pulling the flower out from behind her ear, looking down at it. A pink orchid? Who the heck would put a flower behind my ear. Again she looked around her, but there wasn't even anyone around that was looking at her, let alone know. Before turning her attention to the flower again she made her way out of the crowd to make herself at home against a store's glass window.
Now taking a closer look at the orchid, she noticed how pretty it was. Beautiful petals, vivid color, everything still delicite though. Quite a pretty little thing it was. Struck with an idea, she began riffaling through her large bag, ending up with a napkin and a bottle of water. In a quick moment Isdra has poured water on the napkin, rung it out, and put the napkin around the end of the flower. The poor thing need it's water. If it was properly taken care of it would have 2 to 3 more blooms appear.
"There. That's much better." Right then she realized that, as much as she liked the flower, she was going to have to carry it with her all day. Plus she was still a bit creeped out by the fact that she didn't know who had given it to her. Turning, she noticed a bunch of guys walking toward her. It was obvious that they thought they were tough stuff and it was also obvious that they were coming straight toward her.
"Hey there, hot stuff," A tall, brunette man muttered. Tall, tan, and dumb as hell. Greeeeaaat...
"Ugh... "

Halcyon who was looking at the board before Isdra leaned against the window in front of it heard the men as well and smirked as he glanced at them, "Oh, hello guys!" he responded with a smirk before he looked right at Isdra, apparently she leaned against the window, right in front of him. He turned to face the guys and tilted his head as he watched the look on their faces with his responding in place of Isdra.

A giggle escaped Isdra as she instantly hung herself on Halcyon's shoulders, lacing them around his neck affectiontally. "Oh yeah... Hiya boys. How you don't mind if he joins me," the whole sentance was said in a seductive tone that just about made the men say, but the look that the boy was giving them was a bit frightening. It was an obvious thing that if they got any closer they'd have to face the consequences of their foolish choices.
Grunting in frustration, the men muttered under their breathe and wandered away. Yay! It worked! Turning her attention to the shock that she had forgotten to express, Isdra unlatched herself and gave a squel of happiness before happily hugging the boy. "Halcyon! What are you doing here?! It so cool running into you!" There were hearts practically oozing out of the speech. "I can't believe I ran into you!"

Halcyon laughed lightly as he embraced Isdra back, "Yes, imagine the chances we'd both be on the same small island in the tropics where my father happens to own a hotel resort...I smell a fishy dark elf hand in things. Although I knew you were here a few minutes longer...I can show you where I got that orchid if you want more." he responded before taking a step back.
It was plain he'd been blushing since she wrapped her arms and spoke seductively, her outfit didn't help matters either, then again he was older in mind and body himself since they'd last met.

Confusion took control of the teen girls brain for a breif moment before she gave a deep sigh and nodded. "Ugh. They plotted this whole things, didn't they?" A growl quickly joined the sigh as Isdra imagined the smirk on her father face at this whole plot. "When I get back... Oh how Pops is gonna get it." It took quite a while before Isdra actually realized that Halcyon was talking agin.
"You gave me the orchid?! Thank god! You freaked me out! I thought some random dude was following me or something! It's a scary thought!" She chuckled and looked back down at the orchid still in her hand. "Nah. One is fine.... I like it. It's pretty, but I don't think I could handle anymore. Too much to carry. Plus they'll die fast in this heat, so it's better to just leave them where they can live better." She caught Halcyon's gaze again and smirked. Her why of smiling, since her skin condition was still attacking her body.
Finally taking in the boy in front of her, she finally realized he wasn't much of a boy anymore. Enough masculineness to go around. He'd definitely come into himself, that was for sure. If she wasn't such a flirt, she might just have to blush at his body, much like he was her's, but she just couldn't do that. That'd be much easy for him to get the hint he wanted. "So, what are you going out here?"

Halcyon smirked back at her and motioned towards the store behind her, "I was going to get a decent surfboard and take a hand at surfing...From what I understand it's as fun as snowboarding. I'm also just exploring the shops, first day here and all." He glances at all the island girls walking by, dark hair, dark skin and they they were paying attention to Halcyon too.
He looked back to Isdra, "What about you? Just out shopping? Hopefully no where near ice skates." he winced at that memory. He was at least without the plushie today, unlike back during easter. He stretched and smiled, "Oh...you hungry?"

Looking over her shoulder, Isdra notices a bunch of girls oogling at Halcyon. Giggles wandered around the group as they all pushing their hair about and tried to give themselves a cute expression. A few of the girls caught the teen's eye with there glares and aggravated faces. Isdra turned giving them a breif, very brief so Halcyon didn't notice, smirk which sent a 'Ha-ha-I win' message to them all.
"Me? I don't really know. Kind of just wandering about..." Thinking back to the house made her sigh. It was such a hectic time getting here and settled. Heck, they weren't even settled, but she just wanted to get out of the hotel. It was boring her out of her mind to be stuck in there. "Kinda of just seeing if I can't find another bikini or something. This ones a bit old and too worn. Abused from swimming in out industral waste dump of a river." A slight giggle escaped at the though of Malachi falling into the river and freaking out. Silly boy. "But yeah, I figured beach plus tourists would equal lots of bikinis, so here I am. Hopefully they aren't too expensive."
When he laughed and mentioned ice skates, such a morbid fear of them literally made her shiver. "Never... again... mention skates...." How her hate for them was huge. The poor girl never wanted to see a pair, let alone think about the event that had pasted about the first time she had met the boy she was with. Lifting up her hand, she displayed the 'trophy,' as some might call it, she left with. The slash had healed, but not before leaving her with an ugly scar in it's place. "Never... again."
Again switching topics, Isdra pondered the thought of food. "For the first time in a while, no. Makes me feel less fat than I usually do. Most of the time I'm always eatting with my siblings, who, since there are..." a brief pause was given as she started counting on her fingers. "Arowana... Greyling... Irvine... Malachi..." She pondered the thought for a moment, before nodding, "Oh! Wait. There's the Sara girl who is tecnically a part of the family, too. So 5 siblings. Anyway, yeah, my five siblings all eat at different times, so I'm always snacking and eating with them all."

Halcyon laughed lightly, "bikinis then." he started down the boardwalk, "I hope you're following Isdra, I know where the bikini stores are all at." He grinned at her from over his shoulder. He obviously wasn't as shy as he was at the ice rink either. He gave a stretch and as a result his back muscles became apparent for a bit before he relaxed again. He's been working out alot apparently.
His steps carried him down the boardwalk down towards other shops, eventually he stopped and motioned, there were three different shops that catered specifically to teen female clothing for this weather and time of year. He waited outside as he smiled at Isdra, "Do you need me to come in and give my opinion?"

[GRAWR! I wrote 4 paragraphs earlier, but it hated me and went ERROR and wouldn't give me it back. crying ]
"Oooo... Someone has been working," the teen muttered as she ran to join her compainion. Turning and walking backward, she poked him in the chest. Ooo... Nice and fit... she though to herself while taking another glance before turning back to walk next to him. It was nice to have some lead her for a change and not have people staring because they though she was a whore and had kids at such a young age. Really, it got old quite quick.
An eyebrow raise answered the boy's bold question, soon after followed by a giggle. "Oh really? It seems the boy has gotten forward in his new found body." Not really worrying about him, or at least not obviously she walked into the store, stoping only briefly at the entrance to say over her shoulder, "Do as you like..."
The racks of swimware quickly distracted the pink haired girl, drawing her forward into the many rows of the shop. Tankinis to bikinis, old style to kids' style, one pieces to surf suits. This place seemed to have everything in her opinion and it shocked her. Store that carried bathing suits that she'd been in consisted of Target, Wal-mart, and K-mart. Nothing big or fancy like this. Quickly spotting two she liked and grabbed them, skimpering of the dressing rooms.
Though, she was quite aggravated when she got to them, seeing as they left her with an annoying predicament. The only mirrors in the store seemed to be in middle of it, probably purposelly put there, too. Oh hell, if she had to come out in them, she decided to flant it. The looks would be sure to amuse her. It didn't take much to do that. "Oh well...."
Changing, the first suit was casually walked out and model, noting how it fit. It was a tube top for the upper half and a normal bottom. The tube top was well fitting, but annoying in the fact it was laced in the back and they were already digging into her back. Never a fun thing to wear all day. Pink and Cyan circles overlapped each other, creating a pattern that covered both the top bottom piece. She caught a few glances here and there, but pretended to not notice them. A few moments later, she walked out in the other bikini, this one much better then the last. All links consisted of knots, since it was a string bikini, but some how it was much more comfortable then the last. Cyan faded to blue and blue faded to black on the bikini, just like the color from Isdra face wehn she read price tag. "Whaaa?! This is rediculace!"
[Wow... now it's more paragraphs then before and I HAVE A PLOT! -evil giggle-]

Halcyon was just inside watching Isdra model her bikinis, doing his best to not blush too badly or obviously. Eventually though she found her way to the blue faced shock of the price and he walked over to her. Without a word he took the price tag and looked up at the woman who was still a little taller than him.
A mischevious grin crossed his lips as he walked over to the cashier, repeated the item number on the tag and handed over a black credit card. One of those rare credit cards used only by the richest in the world, a credit card with absolutely no spending limit. He signed his name, and underwent a thumb scan which typically went along with that card as well.
He took the receipt and walked over to Isdra, handing it to her, "It's a gift." he stated to her and smiled before he took her hand and led her out of the store, not even bothered in the least by her webbing.

Isdra blinked in shock as she watched the whole event unfold. "Wha- But! No! Halcyoooon!" She whined as the boy paid her no mind what so ever and just continued with his thumbscan and such. Why did that boy have to be so gosh darn nice?! It really got to her. No one she knew was that nice, except Arowana, but she's still a babe and that's why. "Halcyon! You're too nice! Stop it!" All the whining still did nothing.
Staring at the bikini now set in her hands, she was kind of in shock. No one had ever, ever bought her something that expensive. And this had no strings attatched. No pay me back, no only if you do this, nothing. It was a blunt shock to her, as was the pull she got as the boy pulled her by the hand out of the store. "Ugh. First you shock me, then you try to knock me over, what next?!" She giggled as she shouted that at him, but happily followed, "Where are you taking me?"

He led her quietly and smiled at her suddenly, "I suddenly got an idea..." he led her all the way to the edge of the of the boardwalk, on one of the docks so it was pretty much the two of them, and the ocean. Halcyon turned to look at Isdra and gave her a bright smile.
"What have you been up to Isdra?" he asked her as he leaned against the fence at the edge of the boardwalk dock. He watched her, and still smiled at her.
