Rivera took off her clothes and put them in the bag that Kira had brought with them to keep them clear of sand. The silver bikini she wore weren't the best filled, but at least they weren't falling off. She looked happily at the warm spring sky. Beachballs were already flying, and it wasn't even May yet. She laughed as she carefully manuvered the wheel chair to a safe place in the sands. "Isn't the weather great, Kira?"

Rivera wheeled her chair to somewhere that she could park it without getting it swept into the ocean. From there, she took off the clothes she wore over her silver bikini. She stepped into the sand slowly pushing herself up with the pole of one of many umbrellas stuck into the beach. She laughed at the way Kira was looking at all the girls, and at the same time, she wished that she was as pretty as they were. Compared to them, she looked like a person from a freak show, her and her numerous scars and bullet wounds...

Rivera just laughed again. "You should look at other girls, Kira... it's good for your mental health and I really don't mind." Back in Aeterranchise, it was perfectly okay for a man to do that. They practiced polygomy anyway, and one man could have many wives. The emperor himself often did, but her father chose Kilesekri as his sole bride. Rivera didn't mind him doing it at all. "After all, if you look at me too much, you'll drive yourself nuts. Everyone gets a little boring after some time..." She grinned as he helped her walk. It was difficult, since it wasn't a matter of pain and resistance or weakness. She literally could not command her legs to do anything. It was like the nerves were all dead.

Rivera returned his kiss with a smile. "Just know that I don't mind if you look at other girls. I wouldn't even mind if you dated other girls..." She tried once more to try and support her own weight, but her legs were useless. She couldn't even feel them. Rivera didn't mind that much right now. "I've heard... that if you let a bird you love fly away, you can keep it forever if it flies back to you... I believe you'd fly back to me if you ever left... so I want you to know that you can come and go whenever you please, and I will still love you."

Rivera spread her wings carefully, so she wouldn't accidentally cut the strings on her swimsuit. They were never made for flight, because Atlantean wings were made for aquatic travel to begin with. Waiting for the next incoming tide to take her in, she dove into the depths, her wings propelling her at high speeds through the water. The streamlines left by her trail path attracted playful dolphins in deeper areas. She had no problem speaking to them in their own tongue. Dolphin speech was something most Atlanteans learned with their native language. Dolphins were sacred to her people. An offer to ride was made, and she slipped onto the back of the largest, letting the creature bring her back closer to Kira, but not close enough to get beached.

"Actually, dolphins are pacifists usually. If I stay with them, I'll only slow them down, isn't that right, cutie pie?" She asked the dolphin that just continued to grin perpetually. She loved it that they seldom frowned. They always looked so happy. Rivera rolled herself off and changed her body from the waist down. Atlanteans could change half their bodies to become like porpoises, seals and the like. Rivera, having partial dragon blood, had a completely different appearance when she changed. Her legs shifted to a long, black and silver tail. It was sleek with scales, almost like a snake's, ending in the small tailfin of a fish, a fin with red ribs along the film. There were small spikes along her tail. Her hair grew longer and wilder, darkened in color. Both of her eyes turned a brilliant sapphire blue. She felt the hint of opalescence appear on her fingernails, turning them to a scale like quality, glowing tiny rainbow traces. "Kira, come on." She reached out her hand towards him, concentrating hard on increasing her heart rate, forcing mobility into her lower body. It made her chest hurt, but the pain was worth the effort for what she was about to do.

"You've drunken my blood and all its properties." Rivera whispered to him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Now you will witness and experience the sea as I do." She brought him into a deep kiss, her every passion and desire for him mingled into her very breath, hissing the life of the sea into his body, breathing it into his lungs until he would change as well. "We'll be taking a little journey... so the ramen will have to wait." She waited for him to transform fully. It was easier to move a snake like tail than her legs. She had her lower body mobility quite covered now. With a smile, she dove into the ocean waters with the dolphins all around her, scattered gray pearls within the foam. Her laughing eyes reached back to Kira, beckoning for him to come and share her first life. Calling out a sonorous note in whale song, her full voice was finally heard. Rivera used to always whisper, for she could not speak above the water. After she was returned from the god's realm, her voice was still soft... but in the depths of the ocean, she had a voice with the powerful quality noted of a warrior commander, fitting of the gyrfalcon princess.
