The first thing Marissa noticed about the inside of Val's wagon was the all too familiar smell of heady insence. This was the most prominent feature in Kale's fox quest, and that had not changed after all this time. Marissa seated herself in the same soft chair as she had before, the one, if you faced north from the wagon's entrance, was on the right of a small, draped table. Nervously, and with a suspiciously calm Kale in her lap, Marissa waited.

This time, Val had taken out a candle to scribe in. She lit it and looked into the flame for a long time, trancing out.
"Did you find a bell?" She asked Marissa after some time. "I would like to see it.

Marissa's eyes widened. "The bell..?" She asked, surprised that Val had known about such a thing. "Actually, yes..." From inside her skirts she pulled the handful of a brass bell that she had found the night prior. She set it gently on teh table, where Kale stretched his head and sniffed it warily. He sneeezed. "Val, how did you..?"

Val smiled, "The fire told me." She looked into it further. "That bell will be used to call up Kale's fellow animal friends to help him grow. Upon the journey to Mulden you shall find a firey spot along a trail and ring that bell three times. They will come and help you along your quest further." She looked into Marissa's eyes. "Goodluck, and more help will come along the way."

Marissa listened silently to Pandara's words. This bell...she looked down at it in her hand. It was dim and rusting around the lip. Could something so seemingly homely really be the key to her babe's growing? She recalled what the Banya had said to her and decided it could not be coincidence. With a bow and a murmur of thanks so Valeldia, she left the wagon and headed for PhoenixSong, Kale lagging behind her.
