Hey, just wondering if anyone else has read or heard about this!
According to a survey conducted by Gametart, a game rental service in the UK, chicks who game get more lovin' than those who don't. Out of a sample of 200 ladies (or should that be "laid-ees"?), the ones who gamed got, erm, fragged 1.1 more times a week than those who didn't.
So what I'm saying is you might want to give your honey a DS for Valentine's Day. Mmm hmm. Read on for the rest of the oh-so-scientific study.
Gamers Have Sex More Often!
It’s official – women who play video games have sex more often! Gametart, the UK’s largest online games rental company, carried out the survey throughout January to see how the recent influx of the likes of Pink PSPs and DS Lites would affect gamers’ sex lives across the country.
The results were surprising.
Of our sample of 200 women, those who played video games on average had sex 4.3 times a week while those who didn’t play games only had sex just 3.2 times a week.
Perhaps even more promising for gamers is the fact that many of the women that we interviewed who have only recently started playing games said that they now have sex more often than before.
Gamers have never had it so good!

Interesting study...I'm skeptical of all of the results of such studies, but they're still interesting to hear.
I'm not advocating sex in this guild, its something you should save for someone special and when you're ready, but for those of us already with hubbies/boyfriends, does this hold true for you?
I've been with my boyfriend for almost three years now, and while we're still young, we're going to move out in a few years and probably get married, if things keep going the way they are.
I have sex maybe 5-6 times a week, including the days where its doubled. And I guess that study has to account for the week that those girls were on their periods...hrm. I wonder if all the girls werent on their periods? I wonder if to get into the test group you had to either just be ending your period?

eh, it's so so, i've played video games like my entire life and i still haven't even had my first kiss yet, i'm only 15 but i mean really it's kinda depressing sitting at home alone on a friday night. then again maybe it's cuz i live in orange county and most of the boys want the stuck up sluts who have money.....
wait a tick, just what the heck does the .2 stand for.... did it not work that time or something? =P

I think gamer chicks get it on more often becuse guys think it's totally hot when a chick plays videogames. My guy gets a total kick (if you know what I mean) when I start talking to him about kicking his a** in a fighter game or when he watches me absolutely slaughter monsters in others.
Plus, I think gamer girls are around a lot more guys more often, so that can also increase chances of getting laid. 3nodding

i don't know pretty interesting responses I mean I'm not saying the statistics are incredible or even true for that matter, I just think it's funny how gamer chicks are being over sexualized now too. Kind of like Nerdcore...

i don't know if that study is true or not... but i think what the others were saying is right.... i know a lot of guys who get turned on by girls who play video games and who know how to play them well...

Eh. I've been playing video games my whole life and it wasn't until recently that I've been getting a lot of attention from guys because of it. I found it neat at first but now it kinda gets annoying.

That is an awesome study! Its funny because it completely holds true in my case. Out of my close girl-friends, only i play videogames. None of my other girl-friends play videogames. But I am the only one who has held onto the boyfriend as long as i have and i was the first one to lose my virginity and out of my three other buddies....1 is still a virgin, and 2 only have slept with one guy...whereas i have slept with 3. [dating them so dont think im a slut please. talk2hand ]

it's pretty interesting to hear most girls here have gamer boyfriends, I mean I'm going to school for 3D modeling, and all day long I'm completely out numbered by guys in my classes [seriously including me there's like 2 girls tops for a class of usually 15 to 20] and my boyfriend isn't a gamer at all, I mean he'll play Need for Speed, but that's it! Is it important to any of you's to have a gamer boyfriend??
