Ghost at that moment was having boring day, so she followed the breeze towards the ocean. Because it was a warm breeze, she happily trotted behind it, as if it was a game. When she finally had reached the sand, she stopped her trotting so that she could move slowly on the warm sand. Sand may have been unstable to walk on, but she enjoyed it way too much.
The ocean looked as if it had life again, and she knew that summer was coming along smoothly. From what her mother had told her, summer was a hot but beautiful season, where the days were long, and the nights were as well.
She hadn't experienced a summer yet, so she waited each day, more excited then the next.

Hesperos was feeling a tad tired today. Moving through the fields next to the ocean, he didn't know what to do. He had only had a recent huge growth spurt a few days ago and everything seemed to be different somehow. Walking with a sort of majestic grace, Hesperos continued to walk until the ocean was visible. Then he noticed another soquili, he had never seen another mare besides his baby sister. This would be intriguing...
He decided against moving closer and just watched at a distance. Either way, the ocean was absolutely majestic so that could be his excuse if she happened to see him and wonder why he was watching her. His father used to say how troublesome mares were, but his father was mated... There must be some reason for that and there must be something nice about these 'mares.'

After stumbling here and there, Ghost had a strange feeling that she wasn't alone. As she turned her head left and right, she finally looked around to see a dark stallion standing in the distance. Unsure of what to really make of it, she curled her tail around her leg, and walked towards him. He was quite a distance away, and she felt sort of silly taking such a large walk towards him.
When she finally approached him, she realized how much bigger he was then her. "Hello there." She said, warmly. "Are you enjoying the view as well? Its not often that I find someone else by the water." Shaking her bangs out of her face, she smiled to him, trying to get a better look at him. He too had a horn like hers, and his was colorful and divine. "My name is Ghost, what is your name?

Hesperos obviously took after his father in stature and in personality. He was rather tall even for a stallion and was almost as tall as his father. He looked very similar to his father too except for the tribal markings and the white on his coat.
He bowed slightly after she greeted him. "Hello." Hesperos paused to gaze out at the ocean. "Yes, it is quite amazing out here. I was taken here by the sea breeze. How about you? Do you come here often?" Placing a charming smile on his expression, "It's quite the pleasure Ghost. My name is Hesperos."

Blushing, she looked away for a second, only because so many things he had said were confusing her thoughts. Ever since her sister had warned her of stallions, she had become very keen on learning how abnoxious they were, whistling to females left and right. Hesperos was such a gentleman! She had never run into one of those before! Her innocent nature wasn't going to save her here.
Catching herself again, she looked at him calmly and responded, "I came here because of the breeze as well, I am impressed at your senses Hesperos." Her tail was still wrapped around her leg tight, but she tried to show that she wasn't nervous. Idiotic stallions were always easy for her to deal with, but now she felt challenged out of kindness. "I try to come here often, I had to wait awhile because of the harsh winter we had. But now that it is getting warmer, I try to make my way out here more." She giggled, turning to look at the water. "I have never experienced a Summer, so I am quite excited for that." The cold season were the only ones she had ever felt, so the thought of long days with beautiful nights sounded much more appealing to her.

Watching her with observing eyes, Hesperos was wondering what she was thinking. What did mares think of? Were they any different from his own thoughts? They were still a mystery to him, perhaps he would speak to his father once he got home about this, he seemed to know everything about them. Hesperos couldn't help but admire his father.
"I see. The sea breeze is quite enchanting but not as enchanting as yourself." Hesperos didn't even know what he was saying, it just kinda rolled off of his tongue. "Ah. This is the first time I've been here. I never really got to explore when I was younger since my parents didn't let me." Pausing slightly, "Nor have I. I guess it'll be a new experience for both of us." He flashed another smile at her. "So, were you born here or did you travel here?"

She looked at him with a silly face, and responded, "Heh, well thank you. But I could never compare myself to the ocean, she is just too mysterious and beautiful." Flapping her wings she uncurled her tail and faced him again. "When I was younger I used to escape when I could, it drove my family nuts. Oh, and I was born here." It was nice to talk to another who know the values of a family.
"Are you close to your family, Hesperos?" As one who was with her own, she wondered if other Soquili had the same relationships with their parents as she and her siblings did. Maybe she and Hesperos were more similar then she thought. "A new experience is always the best." She nodded playfully.

Hesperos shrugged and grinned happily. "Interesting. I should have tried to, but I didn't. I always listened to my father. Stayed at home like a good boy and watched over my siblings." The stallion shrugged again, "But that's okay since I'm pretty close to my family. Are you?" As a general rule of thumb, he just thought everybody was close to their family unless they were kalona or something. But it really didn't matter to him, just as long as the soquili was nice, their family should be okay too.
"Do you have any siblings? I have a sister and a brother." Hopefully he didn't sound too prying but other soquili were just so fascinating because he didn't already know their stories unlike his family. The teepee was all the same, but this, this was different.

"Well then you were a good boy." She said, giggling lightly. "I am very close to mine as well, I was just a, thinker you can say when I was younger. So I caused my parents some effort because I was always wondering about things and running off. I think it drove my older sister crazy." She glanced at the ground, remembering all of the silly times. Even in their older state, her sister was always helping her out in the correct scenarios. Maybe she wasn't as keen as her, but she tried. "I guess all families are different and yet the same in some functons."
At his next question, her eyes brightened up. She loved describing her family, and was shocked someone was actually asking. "I also have a sister and a brother." She nodded to him happily. "But my sister is the tough one, and my brother seems to be the baby."

Chuckling heartily, that was an interesting comment. Him, a good boy, but he guessed that it was probably true. He never really caused any trouble except when it was with his father. Hesperos has a really close relationship with him for some reason. "Definitely. Your family sounds interesting though."
His ears perked slightly, "Oh? So two daughters and a son? Your parents must have been quite busy watching you guys. I know my parents did, two sons isn't exactly the simplest task either." He couldn't help but chuckle again and reminisce about his childhood. Then again, that wasn't too long ago. "It's hard to tell with my siblings. For most of the time, I usually wandered off with my father so I don't really know my siblings as well as I should." He shrugged it off, he would get to know them someday.

She wondered herself if she was more close with one then the other, but then it was clear to her that that wasn't really the case. "I guess.. I am clingy at times, so I put in a large effort in family attention. Its funny because I don't find attention itself important, but I try really hard with family stuff." She looked down for a second, wondering if that made sense. She really had a lot to learn about herself, and maturing just seemed.. intense.
"My sister did a lot of the watching." She said, while putting on a silly smile. "She would yell at my brother and I a lot. My parents just sorta, laughed." She wondered what his father was like, and if a connection like that would be a better one to have. "I think that is cool that you were so close with your father.. maybe if I wasn't dozing all of the time, I could have been closer with mine?" She gave him a confused glance.

"Ah. Clingy is adorable though." Again, Hesperos had no idea what he was saying. "My family is important to me, but I'm probably closer to my father then I am with my siblings and my mother. I spent many a day walking with just him around this place." He definitely still had a lot of maturing to go; he had only just become a full-fledged adult. There were still many things he had to learn about himself and life in general and especially mares.
"Dozing? I slept a lot especially during the day. And then at nighttime, my father would take me out for a walk. It was exceptionally beautiful at night. One time... I lost him since it was so dark out and he's darker then the night itself. Thankfully I spotted his iridescent wings." Pausing, "Oh, I'm sorry, I keep on rambling." Looking down, he couldn't help but blush vividly, even though it was barely visible on his black coat.

She looked down while blushing. "Um, yes I guess so.." She peered up at him again embarrassed, only because she was usually told being clingy was the opposite of cute. Shrugging that feeling off, she straightened her expression again so that she wouldn't look uncomfortable.
"I don't think you are rambling!" She said, almost too excitedly. As he was describing his father, she imagined such a sight, and was jealous herself. "Your father sounds like an amazing Soquili.." She drifted, a bit dazed at how romantic a walk like that sounded. "Maybe we can walk at night sometime?"
The words came out quick, and she almost wanted to take them back. Then, trying to save herself, "But hopefully I won't lose site of you too" She said while giggling and trying to hide her embarrassed face. She was confused, why was she being so weird?

Hesperos smiled to himself; she looked so cute when she blushed. When he gets home, there is no way he was going to hide this from his father. Maybe he would be proud of him for getting to know another soquili especially a mare! Aurorealis always chattered on about females and their mystique. Maybe his father was expecting nothing less from him.
"He really is amazing. Maybe you should meet him someday. I think you would like him." He smiled charmingly and wondered why he was feeling like there were little butterflies in his stomach. What an odd feeling. He must divulge this to his father too.
"I'll make sure I stay close and always watch you." Hesperos was acting strange also, but he wasn't quite aware of it... yet.

What was going on here was as strange to her as it was to him, but she didn't dislike it. That's what was confusing her so much, she was enjoying his company.. quite a lot. It was comforting, and although it was strange, it was also pleasant.
"I would be honored! My father is quite awesome himself, I am sure we can all meet someday." She nodded to him, pondering the idea. She really did need to involve her father more with what was going on with her life, and by watching Hesperos describe his father, this made her realize it more.
Again she changed her expression, feeling like a young foal. "Tha..thank you." She said, almost muttering it out of breath. It took her a few seconds to finally look at him again, but she realized she needed to just be herself. "I would be very safe then under your watch."
