A dark blue Hyena huffed his mane out of his face. It walways managed to fall into his eyes. He didn't mind it for the most part, but it was a habit that he couldn't seem to break.
His paler blue paws touched the earth beneath him. His mind decided to wander towards events that happened. It wandered toward Ban, Chachili and his pack. Though... he was a rouge again for the most part.
He'd find Ban later in the cover of darkness save for the light of the moon. For now though, he would just wander.

 Bluu trotted easily over the hard-packed dirt, a little hum coming from her throat. What a nice day! Sun shining warm on her fur, a light breeze to keep her from gettting over-heated... a recent kill in her belly, and she was happy as a chimp in an ant hill.
Yes, life was good, as it should be. Life was a cosmic joke... there as no reason to let it get you. Of course, days like this made it easier to enjoy. The golden grass stroked her sides as she moved through it, rustling dryly to compliment the tuneless humming she produced. Now, just to find something to play with... that would make the day absolutely perfect.

Xx'ami swipped at the grass a bit before letting his scenses wander again. He looked around for the sounds he caught with his ears.
Footsteps...
His ears flicked towards the sound and his eyes followed. A Hyena? Xx'ami walked towards the almost equally blue hyena. Of course, he was cautious. He didn't feel like fighting for his life again.

A rustling in the grass caught the female's attention and her long ears perked. With cautious steps, she eased closer to the source of the noise.
Closer... closer.... ha!
The female let out an ear-defening cackle as a rabbit burst up from the grass, and she was on it like shot. The pair dashed through the grass, the rabbit silent and frightened for its like, the hyena making enough racket to raise the dead as she chaised it for sport.
Yes! Fun! Run, jump, snap-jaws! Her white tail whipped madly behind her, the short white mane bouncing against her thick neck. Back and forth they weaved, the rabbit trying all the tricks it knew to loose Bluu in the tall grass. Quick turns, doubling back, leaping over and under things... all to distract the hyena.
Uncaring who might be watching, Bluu was having the absolute time of her life chaising that rabbit.

Xx'ami chuckled a bit as he watched the female Hyena chase a rabbit. He waited for her to get tired and followed near by, but far enough away.
His red mane swayed gently in the wind as he trotted after the female. He was curious to talk to another female. He sat while he watched the female chase the poor little rabbit who was probably going to tire soon.

With a flood of relief, the rabbit saw a dark shape in the grass and bolted towards it. The small form disappeared down a hole in the ground with a flirt of its soft little tail, and was gone.
Bluu had been following so closely that she had no time to stop before she reached the hole. Suprise and frustration crossed her face as she struggled to back-pedle, but nothing could stop her from landing nose-in the hole in a cloud of dust and sharp yips, the blue body tumbling head over nose. Comical, for sure, and after the first annoyance at having lost her plaything, the female started to laugh, picking herself up from the ground and shaking all over to clear the dust from her hide.
"Well no, that was entertaining... too bad it got away." The powerful body stretched to ease muscles gone tight with the excitement of the chaise. After a moment, she finally took in her surroundings, and blinked in suprise as she found a younger male hyena watching her. Head tilting, she looked him up and down, studying him with icey blue eyes. "Uh... hello the, youngin'." She said, plastering a smile on her face to cover her embarrassment.

Xx'ami tried not to laugh too hard. It wasn't his style to laugh every chance he could. He held back a laugh as he answered. "Hello," He said as calmly as he possibly could.
He let out a small cackle and took a deep breath to further calm himself. X sat there with a small smile. His ears flicked a few times before he spoke again, even though he didn't really know how to make converation with anyone but Ban.
"Weather's nice, huh?" He commented with a small glint of unknown in his eyes.

Bluu laughed as she looked the young male over, her ears perked as icy blue eyes swept him.
"Its not too bad..." She huffed as she grinned, taking a couple of steps closer before she stopped. "I'm Bluu. Ye are?" Blunt, but functional... yep, that was Bluu to a T. She couldn't help her grin though. Mentioning the weather... that said loud and clear that the other had no idea what to say to her. Not really something Bluu was used to, but it was highly amusing, which is what she really cared about anyway.
"Do ye live here, then, too?"

Xx'ami-da's eyes shifted away, slightly embarassed. He gave a small chuckle. "S'nice to meet you Bluu. I'm X... Xx'ami-da..." He said, still used to his one letter name.
"Do ye live here, then, too?"
He gave a light turn of his head. "Um, no. I'm on my way to see a friend." He mused that he was traveling again, like an old wanderer. He cleared the thought from his head before speaking again. "I suppose you are though?" He questioned.

Blue tilted her head at the unusual name. It wasn't even worth it to try and pronounce it, chuckles rolling from her.
"X, eh? Not bad, not bad." She smiled and licked her maw with a little snap of her jaws, unconsciously tilting her head to clear her white bangs from her face. Visiting a friend... that was an interesting sort of something. "Naw, I don't live here. I live where my paws take me, sleep where I land at night, and hunt when the hunger strikes me." A silly sort of grin split her face as she tucked her hindquarters and plopped down in the dirt, white tail brushing side to side.
"Friend, huh? Where's your friend staying? Part of the pack here, or another wanderer like ourselves?" She was genuinely curious, though more out of her boredom than because she really cared.

"She was with her mother around here, I think," He pondered this for a second, letting his red tail wrap lightly around his body. "She may be a bit father away though..."
He shook his head a little. "She'll be coming with me to wander," he told the blue hyena.
He tilted his head at her. "Where are you headed next though? Or do you just go on ambition?" Xx'ami asked the female in soft curiousity.

Bluu watched the younger male with tilted head, taking in what he said with a general attention, more for amusement than anything else.
"Ah, good... more creatures should wander. If no one claimed any one place, then there would be nothing to squabble about, right? No wars over land or food... each one depending on their strength and their mind to provide for themselves." She cackled as she nodded sharply, rocking on her paws. That was certainly the best thing she'd heard in a while.
Her head tilted the other way when she came to think about where to next. "Well... I don't rightly know. My paws seem to be content, so for now, I'm just here." She grinned as she pronounced this, nodding to make her white hair bounce. "Whats about you two? You got a place to go next?"

"Well..." X started idly... He though for a second... Did they have a place to go after the jungle... He didn't know.
"We're going to the jungle first..." He said. "But after that, we're just going to go where our feet take us..." He guessed, hoping that they would travel after the jungle.

Bluu laughed brightly as she shifted on her paws, falling into a long, luxurious stretch with spread toes and arched back.
"That's a good way to think about it. Go where you want to go, do what you want to do, see the things you've dreamed about seeing... that's the way life should be lived. Not stuck in one place like a zebra in the mud." Her cackle rolled out as she straightened up, her little white tail wagging madly behind her as she stirred up a little dust with her hindlegs.
"I've always dreamed of setting paw in every land on this old earth of ours. To say that there was no place left un-explored by this female hyena. People'll mention places, and I want to be able to say 'hay! I've been there before!' and tell them all about it." She laughed.

Xx'ami gave a firm nod. "To travel everywhere, that would be wonderful. Everywhere is so different!" He said with a light cackle. He smiled at her analogy with mith. A zebra stuck in the mud...
"How many places have you seen?" He asked in curiousity. He hadn't really strayed far from the waterhole he found. He was waiting for Ban there, so he didn't want to wander a lot. This Hyena though, didn't seem to have those attachments.
