This is the outskirt of the city. It's a wide area with trees growing along the edge of the land. There are a few mountians nearby that makes this field look a little more closed in.

*they appeared in the outskrts of town. ahead of them was a large amount of nightfiends. there may be over 2000 of them, large and small. he looked ahead and seem kano in the air above them. he stood his ground and grinned*
so this is it huh? well he certinally knows how to have a fun day.

Mari looked up and glared at Kano, her mace appearing in her right hand. She decided she would start the battle with the weapon she knew how to use the best. Her gray eyes flickered silver here and there.

*as he floated above his army he looked down at smash with a grin*
how nice of you to come. this will be the final battle between us. you don't have much of a chance so why not surrender?
*he steped forward and looked at one nightfiend in the front row. he pointed at it and a beam shot out from his finger and destroyed it. he looked up at him with a wide grin showing teeth*
surrender? i don't think so you son of a b***h.

Mari retaliated to his comment by forming three light energy daggars in between the knuckles of her right hand and threw them straight at three night fiends infront of her and the energy burnt them until they were gone.

*he shot them a glare and gritted his teeth*
very well. attack!!
*the army of nightfiends started charging at them as commanded*
*he looked back at mari as he started gathering his energy*
go now! i'll meet up with you when i'm done here!
*electricy started forming in his hands until a ball was formed in his hand. he used that energy and placed it into his chest. he entire body started bursted into energy. his sences were dramatically increased. with a flash he dissapeared. his movements couldn't be seen but you could see the numbers of nightfiend's numbers decrease*
*he looked at mari as he perpared to take flight*
let's go mari! we can do this!

Mari didn't go to her demon form quite yet. Instead, she gathered a ball of energy and threw it at the ground, keeping the mace in her right hand. She was shot into the air at Kano, and she did a spin in the air bringing her mace to his side in a forceful swing. She had to admit that the wristbands did help as she noticed her swings were faster and even stronger than they were before.

*he brought up his hand and blocked the mace. it cause his hand to bleed but it didn't seem to affect him. he grinned as he looked at her*
so i get to play with you. i could use a warm up
*he pushed the mace away and threw a punch to her face with all his might to send her back to the ground*
*he was concerned about mari but stuck with the plan. he breathed fire on the night fiends that tried to come in contact with mari*

Instead of hitting her face, she had brought the end of her mace up and he punched right into the spikes. He still sent her back to the ground, but not without messing up his hand. She looked up at him from the ground and grinned madly. Her eyes shinning silver instead of gray.

She didn't answer him. Instead, she kept the mad grin on her face. She couldn't control the berserker mode, yet, but she had a control over a lower form of it that caused her eyes to glow and shine a silver color and put her in a crazed state of mind. She held up her mace infront of her and crouched towards the ground.

*he raised his eyebrow at her a bit. she seemed to be getting stronger but it wasn't anything to be worried over. with that he dashed at her with blade up high. once he was in range and brought his blade down on her. he the kept slashing from left and right, fasted and faster to the point that even she wouldn't be able to defend every hit*

Two light blue orbs appeared on her shoulder blades and she countered all his strikes with her mace hilt. She was surprisingly keeping up with him despite his speed. Her eyes flickered on every counter. It seemed that she was seeing where the blade was heading before he even swung it. One of his strikes, she knocked him back by putting force to her counter and then brought her foot up and delivered a fast and forceful kick to his chest.

*letting the kick hit him, he was able to grab it and pick her up. he tossed her into the air and dashed up with her. he rose his hand up into her face and fired a dark beam right in her face*

The beam hit the face of her after image as she phased out of the way when she was thrown into the air. Her fasing was like teleport, but different. She wasn't moving extremely fast to appear in a new place, but actually opening miniportals and moving through those, but this process couldn't be seen because it was that fast. She had wound up above him, but behind him with her head facing the ground. On her fall back towards the ground, she spun in the air and swung her mace at his head hard. Gravity started to pull her back towards the ground and she phased before hitting and wound up landing on her feet.
