We decided to call her Kohaku!There were alot of nice names suggested but this fit her best once she was actually in hand.
Me and my sister will soon be recieving a Juri 05 and we dont have a clue what to name her . She was an impulse buy and there wasnt much thought process involved. She is going to have slightly modded eyes,elf ears modded into wings and she will be a high ranking Lady and a Pheonix.She will also be faceuped in tones of red,gold,bronze and browns.Her personality is very obnoxious,gossipy,a little bit snobby and above all ,mischievious.She hordes like a dragon and talks up a storm.
The name must be japanese in origin and preferably deal with the theme of: life,red,gold,fire, etc. Something appropriate for a Pheonix. No typical anime schoolgirl names like Hikari though.While it would be an appropriate name in meaning,it's just too common.This name needs to be more meaningful and thought out.
Tall order isnt it?
We'll have a character sketch up soon just in case it'll help.

Akane = Brilliant Red
Amaterasu = A Japanese sun goddess
Hotaru = Firefly
Kin = Golden
Kohaku = Amber
Natsumi = Summer beauty
Teruko = Shining child
I could go on and on....

Junishii Akane = Brilliant Red Amaterasu = A Japanese sun goddess Hotaru = Firefly Kin = Golden Kohaku = Amber Natsumi = Summer beauty Teruko = Shining child I could go on and on.... I think I like Natsumi or Amaterasu. Akane is too common, what with Ranma and all. You're going to have to share pictures when you get her in. The Juri 2005 is my favorite face, and I love seeing the different looks. I have one myself and I'm amazed every time I see another Juri and see how different the doll is from mine. And yours sounds very different.

And yours sounds very different. Yes Juri is a very interesting mold, all of them look very different. I especially like where the colors are going with this one. I'm Aoyuki's sister and the other owner of this incoming girl. We have a Juri 06 that was modded into a kitsune already,Haruka, so this is the second of our interesting modded Juris( I hope this year's Juri will join us as well!).
So far, Im liking Kohaku best, as is my sister. Id like to hear some more though smile Most suggestions so far have been pretty good

Nothing wrong with the name! The Ranma girl just one of 3 billion anime girls with that name, given as an example. No one attacked your choice of a name. Hell I dont know who ever owns what doll or what the heck their names are anyways. Its fine if it suits your character , just doesnt fit mine.

I chose Kohaku! 3nodding It seems to be the one that sits best with her, so she can have it biggrin
Kohaku the Phoenix ......I finished her eye mods, now for the tricky stuff lol
