It seems to me that the rest of the world (meaning non-lolita) frowns upon bangs. You see, I was researching for pictures of bangs because I want mine a bit thicker, and I kept coming across pages where people were saying that bangs are hideous! this one's an extreme example, and I couldn't believe she had the tenacity to call people horse-faced. XD they don't look good on everyone though, so maybe not. but still. Since my research just pissed me off, got any cute lolita bang pictures? even your own if you think they'll help. thanks!

XD yeah not to many people like bangs or atleast 'loli' bangs aka straight across bangs. When ever I went to get my hair cut the person looked at me like 'O.o wtf? are you on drugs why do you want bangs?' Now I got a new one and she is like '^o^/ bangs are so cute!'
Most of the bangs now a days are longer and swept to the side.

 I got my bangs in the winter break and came to school with them. I wasn't ashamed of it and my friends were telling me how cute and young I looked. A month later, I saw this girl in my homeroom having the big bangs. Trust me, she didn't look good in them. Next I knew, a friend in my church got them. Now, she saids that they are so annoying [we are both asains]. The day before my spring break, a raelly close friend of mine got them too!

There are only a few people at my school with bangs, and quite frankly, I prefer it that way. The attitude of other girls toward me causes me to dislike 'following' trends, even if I had them before they were cool.

A) I'd love bangs, but as I have giant curly hair, I can't imagine them working out well for meeeee. ;___;
B) Every fashion has enemies. I'm sure that someone, somewhere, hates the LBD with pearls, but does that stop people from wearing it?

I love bangs and I want a hime cut so bad...But my hair is curly....Id like to get a hairstyle that covers my fore head,Im starting to get those ugly forhead wrinkles crying

I hadn't had bangs in about eight years when suddenly, I decided to get them. The woman cutting my hair said "well, you have a big forehea-- OHMYGOD! SORRY! BUT! Bangs! Er. Bangs aren't right. How about a wispy, side fring?"
Didn't work out so hot. They were thin and messy, and in my face too much, so I went and got bangs cut. A lot of my friends and even one of my professors said that they liked them, but it took them a while to settle and look "right" to me. And now? Now they're getting too long. >_<;

i have bangs becasue i used to have really bad pimples on my forehead and bangs covered them up <3 but i bet next season they will be the "in" thing again or something like that..

o: I hope you take care of your forehead more than how you used to. The oils in your hair can make the pimple problem worse.

If bangs look good, I think, depends upon the person. I had short bangs for the longest time and loved them. Then I decided to grow them out for some reason...
But, I think it's very rude for people like her to go and post stuff like that online that completely degrades and tears down other people.

I personally don't really care for bangs. xD I am a bit bias though, becuase I can't have bangs-my hair is too curly.

i don't think they're generally frowned upon. i mean a lot of celebrities are getting them and making it a trend, gwen stefani mischa barton, (as much as i despise star-gazing it's hard to avoi when you're into fashion)

I tried getting bangs. My mom decided to cut my hair to give me bangs and screwed up. So I had to grow it out. *tear*
