lol What the hell? xD I'm just going to take a wild guess here and say that the author is a pro-lifer who seemed very disgruntled by the fact that they called the 'baby in the womb' by it's proper medical term 'fetus' and of course that they suggested abortion to save the mother's life or something. What exactly was wrong with her? I didn't quite get that...
It's kind of hard to get any emotion from the two sides by reading this and I don't watch House so I have no clue what's really going on. Is House the name of a guy or something? What do they mean when they say 'Cuddy' becomes House? /confused
I dunno who the hell would name their kid 'House' that's kind of weird.

House is the last name of the main character in the show. Cuddy is obviously one of the supporting characters (probably female and House's boss). "Cuddy becomes House" means that when House was ousted and removed from the case, Cuddy took on the roll of House as well as whatever it is that gives him his edge in the show (in this case it appears a wacky take on medicine, and playing chicken with the disease is his "edge")

  I couldn't tell if it was a pro-lifer or a pro-choicer being sarcastic because those terms were used in the show. Without seeing the show, I can't tell, but if people were calling it murder and insisting on calling it a baby and saying he was cruel to dehumanize it, and I was pro-choice? That's the exact kind of tone I'd take.
Then again, it could be someone's genuine two cents on the nature of abortion.

It's called anime. xd Naw...I really haven't been watching much TV at all lately. I've just been running around registering for college, drawing pictures, and doing homework. I can't wait to go to UAT and get my major in 3D animation. OMG I just visited the school today and it's the coolest school I've ever seen. It's pretty small too (like 1200 students) so I'm really excited to go there, especially when people dressed as ninja's pop out of nowhere and throw paper stars at you. xd lol sorry...that was totally off topic. I'm just so excited. whee

And anime, of course. The only time I watched House, it was waaaay too full of drama-cheese. I love drama as much as the next guy, but when the plot is so full of plot twists that you can guess half of them just by guessing that the worst possible or least likely turn is going to be the next one, it's too much. And all the, "Are you mad?" "No, I'm a genius" kind of stuff got a little much too.

I do watch some House (repeats on USA), but I haven't seen this episode. That review of it wasn't very good, in that the biases of the writer detracted from the synopsis of the episode.
There is an episode where House convinces a rape victim to get an abortion (Season 3, Episode 12 - One Day, One Room), so maybe this is like a balance episode, where the unborn human gets to live?

Television Without Pity has a recaplet here if you're totally lost. Yes I do watch House (I just watched a new episode today). It was interesting to see how he sort of changed his views about the unborn child when he was doing surgery and the baby reached his hand out of the moms womb (he had to cut the mom open yet can't take the baby out or cut the cord). It shows you just how real the baby is, even if it's not born yet and I heard that it really did happen to one doctor (the baby reached out and grabed on to the doctors fingers). I didn't like it in that one episode where he seemed to sort of forced that rape victim into an abortion even when she said she didn't want to do it. But it's interesting to see different peoples and characters point of views.
