I didn't see a thread for this around, so I decided to start one. If there already is, then the admin or mods can handle it. So is there really a KH2 Final Mix? I read about it from this site. I've heard that it was already released in Japan a while ago and that it'll be released in the US around Fall. Here's a pic I found online.

i saw a japanese copy at a convention i went to.. but what i don't really get is whats all that different about the final mix version?

I heard that it's a two disc game. The first one has more cutscenes and other stuff for KH 2 and the second one is a 3D version of KH Chain of Memories.

dpgirl27 I heard that it's a two disc game. The first one has more cutscenes and other stuff for KH 2 and the second one is a 3D version of KH Chain of Memories. MORE cut scenes?? sweatdrop i mean.. they were all good and very pretty.. but the game was basically a big cut scene with abit of fighting in it.... chain of memories would be cool though

Yeah, there are already too many cutscenes in KH 2. As for the Chain of Memories...that, I can't wait to see and play!

I heard about this from a friend and got all excited.I didn't know when it was coming out so I learned something.I never could beat Chain of memories for the GBA,I have troubles with gameboy games sweatdrop

Same here. Hopefully, the PS2 version of Chain of Memories will be much easier.

In a Weekly Shonen Jump interview with Nomura, the Kingdom Hearts creator expressed interest in a possible international version of Kingdom Hearts II, although there were no definite plans. He said that should a "Final Mix" version arise, he has a "trump card" in mind, with such features as the Mushroom Heartless found in the first Kingdom Hearts.In September 2006, Square Enix announced they would develop Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, featuring new scenes and gameplay elements. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ is a 2-disc set. The first disc contains Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, which added content including extra cutscenes and optional bosses to Kingdom Hearts II. The second disc contains Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, a 3D PS2 version remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories with Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts' graphics, extra scenes, and voiceover for particular scenes. The battle system continues the card gameplay, with the addition of using Reaction Commands. The game was released in Japan on March 29, 2007. Several independent sources state that a release in North America will occur in Fall 2007 with no confirmation from Square Enix.

God I hope that this comes out. I still can’t beat KHCoM hopefully a PS2 version will make it easier.

whats the big deal? Its a few spare cutseens, my friend speeks japanese so he baught the origonal final mix from japan, said that you didn't miss much other than them hinting more at the organization. Big deal! I'm not coughing up 50 more bucks for a game with just teasers to the next game.
The CoM however, sounds slightly more appealing. I already beat it but couldn't hirt to actualy hear the other members speek, get to know them more. Who knows, maby poor Lexrane will get a fanboy or two. :: shrugs:: I'm not too hot on having to deal with cards in the PS2 version though, wasn't that great in the GBA and will probably annoy me halfway to hell. If I have some spare cash lying around I might get it, but more or less likely I will have an obsessive friend who is missing a game that I have that he wants, a game swap will be made and I'll get to play it ether way.

If this is never released in the USA, I am going to hop on a plane to Japan, storm into Squenix in full Organization XIII cosplay attire and hold people hostage. Serves them right to get pummeled by a rabid fangirl.

I REALLY WANT THIS GAME!!! i HEARD ABOUT IT ON RPGAMER.COM AND THEY SAID THAT IT WAS ONLY GOING TO COME OUT IN JAPAN! I REALLU REALLY HOPE THAT IT WILL BE RELEASED IN FALL!! I FREAKING WANT THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!
