That is all.

Sorry, I have a massive test tomorrow. I'm going to be up all night preparing for it. I'm just taking a break now.

I would've been online too, but I was sucked into Kingdom Hearts 2 (quite an interesting game). I played for almost an hour but still haven't gotten out of the first town.
I think I might go to bed soon though, I want to read more of this book Burger lent me ("My Uncle Oswald" by Roald Dahl). It's sooo funny! And I have to get up early tomorrow to shower, finish packing, and study for my vocabulary test. I hate tests. I'm going to stop rambling now.

The book of Matilda is sooo much better than the movie. Burger has a Roald Dahl recipe book which includes a recipe for Bruce Bogtrotter's Chocolate Cake. It looks really yummy, but I don't think I could ever eat a whole one by myself...

Can't say I'm a fan of the Matilda movie, but I love the book. Bruce Bogtrotter's chocolate cake, you say? Can I possibly have a copy of that recipe? I've always wanted to try a piece of that cake.
(Would the book be Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes, by any chance?)
Also, I like The BFG and the Twits.

[Shadow.Elven-mage] Would the book be Roald Dahl's Revolting Recipes, by any chance? Yes, it would be that book. We haven't made anything from it yet, but it all looks mighty interesting... ^_^

The library at my old primary school has a worn and battered copy. I've never borrowed it out, but now I'm thinking I should get one of my younger siblings to...

Worn and battered copies of books are usually the best kind of books. It means (to me, anyway) that they've been well-loved by many people.

Or that the seven and eight-year-olds borrowing the books really had no idea how to take care of the books properly.
^.^ Just joking - I agree with you.
(And now I have to go and do work, which is why I stayed back after class today!)

I'm a huge fan of The Twits, Matilda, and George's Marvelous Medicine. I've lost count of how many times I've read the former two. Also, I absolutely LOVE "The Man from the South," "Lamb to the Slaughter," and "Beware the Dog."
Speaking of short stories, who has read Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery"? Or what about "The Lady or the Tiger?" The tiger.
