History and other Corvidae nonsense (if you're really that interested)
Crows in the world: Crows belong to a Corvidea family of birds. They have been known to display a remarkable level of intelligence and, as very social birds, live in very complex, hierarchic societies with several members having various occupations. They are usually kind birds who feed their old and weakened parents or come to the aide of any unrelated crow in distress. Once mated, a Crow usually mates for life. The Crow's aptitute for using tools in order to retreive a meal (which consists of anything and everything) also adds to their reputation of cleverness. However, they are often considered pests, blamed for raiding crops. They also take advantage of their dark black plumage by navigating through shadows of trees which renders them effectively invisible to enemies in the daylight. This provides for an effective set up for an ambush. Their enemies consist of larger hawks and especially owls at night. Frequently, Crows tend to "play" with predators such as hawks while escorting them out of their territory. As their most deadly enemy, however, Crows will more fiercly attack an owl than any other predator. A gathering of Crows is referred to as a 'murder'.
Crows in Legend: In many European legends and other mythology, Crows are often represented as harbingers or portents of death for various reasons such as their black plumage, unnerving calls, and tendency of eating carrion or feeding on corpses. They tend to be symbolic of the transition of the spirit into the afterlife, often seen circling battlefields. In some cases, the Crow is associated more with spirit rather than air, like most birds. One example of Crows in folklore is the story of The Crow and the Pitcher, emphasizing the virtues of ingenuity and persistence. There are also many stories telling of Crows originally being pure white, and somehow their feathers were later turned black. info gathered from Wikipedia

ah, progression...
Caw Name: Leviticus Age: 15-ish Height: 5’1” Weight: 100 lbs Spirit of: The crow Eyes: Electric blue. Even when he isn't tired, his eyelids appear red and sleepless. Hair: short, dark grey/brownish tint, styled into a faux hawk (cause they're amazin'), or looking as if he just rolled out of bed and didn't bother looking in a mirror. Physique: He's relatively short but has a lean body that, while some would call scrawny, allows him to be flexible and remarkably agile. His skin is lightly tanned. Appearance: Though he overall dislikes having things weighing him down, he sometimes carries some sort of small messenger bag or haversack on his person in which he hoards various, seemingly unnecessary items (for those frequent 'life-threatening' situations). His sense of style is ‘edgy’ for the most part, usually involving some sort worn down pants and sporty jacket (nothing too heavy and certainly nothing too elegant and fancy). Most importantly (and yes, it's of the utmost importance X3), he would prefer his bare feet over shoes. In any case that desperately calls for shoes, however, he can be persuaded into open-toed sandals. But besides his fashionable garb, it’s not uncommon to see a few bandages here and there which derive from his unquenchable curiosity and lack of attention to the rules. Other Distinguishing Features: Two pairs of small dark-grey/black wings protrude from between and beneath his shoulder blades which still carry a bit of young down feathers. Also has a strange mark on his left arm (which is always kept covered). <--more on this later.
Intelligence: Above average, how he uses it however is still questionable. Most suspect he just likes being an idiot... Others have gone so far as to say he isn't exactly aware of the IQ he possesses. If presented with a difficult problem he will most likely do his best to ignore it, but when actually interested it is surprising how quickly he can figure something out. Personality: Outgoing for the most part, but he lacks a certain level of grace when it comes to interacting with others. While he seems to be completely comfortable in his own actions, his social behavior towards another living thing is extremely awkward. Thinking before speaking is something alien to him. He can be a bit wild and spontaneous, allowing his curiousity, arrogance, and seemingly permanent immaturity to lead him into trouble. He believes that he lives in a world without limits or boundaries and has a lot of confidence in himself. There is nothing that he enjoys more, though, than being in the company of other people (other than perhaps going really really fast) whether strangers or enemies (though he may not admit to his enemies). It's almost as if he has a deep subconcious need to be in company and he quickly attaches himself to certain individuals, even to those who reject him. It usually doesn't take him very long to feel completely and assuredly aquainted with someone. However, this attention-seeker is also a major thrill-seeker, and will go to just about any limits to get his adrenaline pumping. Pleases: climbing lamp posts or jumping fences; sneeking!; black feathers; laughing; playing tricks; running away; sunny days; starless nights; winning; hoarding shiny things; will eat just about anything Secretly Pleases: reading and solving puzzles Displeases: losing or getting caught; heavy things; going slow; rules; shoes; boredom; being left out; being confused Favorite colors: black, cream, blue Backstory: I'm getting to it i swear Abilities: Though you may think that having four wings means incredible flying skills, in this case, you'd be somewhat incorrect. He may at one point in time have been able to use his wings for flight, and maybe he will again someday, but they're slow growing and utterly useless for the time being. Instead, Levi relies heavily on his ability to lithely move through shadows and surprising agility on foot, which of course he takes advantage of by playing tricks on unsuspecting woodland creatures... and everyone else (excepting his guardian). Inabilities: singing v.v; Weaknesses: Idiosyncrasies: Though he doesn't usually realize it, he can often be seen tugging at the sleeve of his left arm (which for reasons he would prefer to keep secret, he always keeps covered).

et some guardian stoof... Hoot Name: Alexithemia Sobriquets: Alex, Mia, Themia Age: 18 Height: 5’4” Weight: 105 Hair: Thick, brown, and almost fluffy in texture though it’s generally straight. Fairly short, cut shorter in the back and longer as you reach the ears without touching her shoulders, with a surprising mass of bangs that extend bellow her eyes, ultimately hiding them from view. Eyes: On the exceptional occasions that her bangs are parted, revealing, usually, her left eye, you’ll find that it is a striking shade of orange and overflowing with apathy. her right eye (though it's often not seen) is light brown/cream with a dark pink circle around a dark pink pupil. Physique: Short with a petite build and lightly tanned skintone. Appearance: there are few styles that she will object to. In fact it isn't uncommon to find her wearing colors significantly brighter than her suspected mood, though the contrary is also relevant, so long as she's picked it out herself. Other Distinguishing Features: Other than her frighteningly ooto right eye, she's fairly plain. Left eyebrow is pierced. Intelligence: Currently Unknown. Some will tell you she's genius, others have interpreted her occasional, seemingly random, and spontaneous commentary as a hint of absentmindedness and mental instability. Personality: Generally:... disinterested... indifferent... unconcerned... Apathetic in many senses. She's quiet, without ever hardly smiling (besides the occasional manic grin), but far from shy, having little to no concept of some else's personal space. She's distanced herself from nearly everyone around her by remaining uncommitted to anything and scarcely revealing any emotion or personal interest to anyone. Conversations with her, well, aren't usually conversations at all, just awkward silences or a few deep (most likely pointless) sentences, and she can often appear not to have an attention span longer than 10second. Very secretive in the way she lives her life, to those who don't know her (which includes nearly everyone excepting Levi) it may seem that nothing can spark Alex's emotions, however, this isn't exactly the case. Her slightly more expressive side comes out at night and often when she's driving; a side that Levi struggled to cope with in his younger days. Pleases:not much... anything that can get her adrenaline pumping (near-death experiences maybe? o.0; ), nighttime, driving, quietude Displeases: not much here either... commitment, waking up after certain nights, Levi Secretly Pleases: Levi Abilities: She's got incredible eyesight. Imean, she'd have to, right?, to be able to see where she's going behind those bangs. Her right eye has also given her the ability to sort of 'sense' death, or the approach of death towards another individual (only once has she sensed it coming for herself...) Backstory: Like she'd ever tell anyone. Actually, over the time she watches over Leviticus, more and more of her history is revealed to him. Up until this point, Alexithemia's occupation remains a secret as she perpetually dissappears many nights only to return in the morning with a hangover and several bandages. Neglected during these nights, Levi only understands this much: Alex's true self comes out at night...and you never want to see that right eye... Her relationship towards Leviticus is anything but motherly. Each seem to want little to nothing to do with each other and seem to have no problem expressing that to one another, but neither can deny that they have a deep, nearly life-sustaining connection. Both appear to be socially uncoordinated and over the years rub off on eachother. As Levi gets older, Alexithemia gradually becomes a more caring friend, though never a mother, and Levi... well, he still doesn't grow up much. The reason for their pairing still isn't exaclty clear, but perhaps she'll be the only one who truly understands him.. Idiosyncrasies:

No Problem
anyway Windam it looks cool but it also looks like Winston mixed with Gundam those are the first 2 things I thought of plus it sounds like its trying to be harsh and fluent at the same time i think his outside personality is a bit more harsh so I would go with Harsh letters and sounds and syllables I'd keep around 1-2 syllables
also it has to be a name that you want to say and it doesn't annoy you every time you hear//say it
like imagine going down the street and you see your friend whose name happens to be...idk Uka (lol, hes a tribesman) anyway would you love to just yell down the street
YO!!! UKA!!! or see him and be all like Yo Uka hows was the show last night? or Hey Uka are those chicken patties any good???
i would kill myself if i heard Uka all the time
idk i'll think of some stuff tonight

haha *so has the urge to name him Uka now*
i do like the idea of having something that sounds a bit harsh since he's not exactly sweet and innocent. but it might be kindof interesting to have a name that contradicts his personality or something ironic

well that would work as well a name contradictory to his personality is a good idea but it all depends a name that is harsher seems to match him but i have no clue what you will decide to do with him once he is created because yunno this is about character development and the name needs to work for the now and the then yunno if its a contradictory name maybe one that contradicts him now but has some sort of hidden meaning or a lead of some sort
either way yeah ill suggest some stuff but in the end if you get a name that you know is perfect for him go with it regardless of what I say or anyone else says
take my quest Ripley what does Ripley have to do with Diamonds??? Nothing! nothing at all I just like the name and to me it works i think it works great so yeah just do what you want in the end and make sure its what you want
