Daemon chuckled to himself as he seemed to find someone that liked to be in his company. Inari, he was a strong kid, almost an adult, but still in his time of adolescence, it was interesting what it was like to be alone in the presence of someone younger then him, but also, someone who was striving to be the best.
"So Inari, never taken down big game yet? You said you want to be a warrior right?"
"Yea..."
"So its time for you to hunt something bigger then a fish. You need to be strong to be a 'warrior'" Daemon said with a nod. Inari flicked his tail, rolled his golden eyes. Daemon though he knew everything huh? Well, Inari believed Daemon in the fact that he needed strength, but Daemon didn't know everything about Inari either.
Didn't know that Inari had met the God of War himself, and would one day be a lion warrior who's name everyone would know.

(Hope you don't mind me changing who I throw out X3)
Asherah had once again wandered off from her travel companions. The black, white-marked female was skirting the edge of the Pridelands, momentarily stopping to check when there was a scent marker - careful not to roam too far into a claimed territory. It was curiousity that kept her close to it. This was the first pridal land she'd seen since she was a young juvenile, after all.
Today she was strong and confident, a rogue of good health and reasonable experiance. It showed in her bearing that she knew how to handle herself...such was the image she wanted to give to any angry pridemembers who may come to give her any trouble for simple curiousity.
This cat wasn't prepared to die for it.

Inari sighed as Daemon said something every now and then. Daemon could surely talk a lot, so Inari's golden eyes wandered here and there, traveling over what he could see, what he tried to see. He saw something in the distance, perhaps it was a zebra or antelope? That'd be good, then he could try to hunt it down and shut Daemon up with his 'almighty knowing of everything-ness.'
Daemon, do you think thats something we could hunt?" Inari said making a motion with his head to the distant dark figure.
Daemon's blue eyes settled on the black thing, it was alone, possibly a zebra that got separated from its herd? That'd be a good choice for what Inari could try to hunt by himself. "Might be, go on ahead and check it out, if two lions approach, it might catch our scents..." he said taking slower strides.
Inari nodded and went into the taller grass, crouching down low he began to get closer and closer to his target.

In the long grass on the border of the pridelands, Ash lowered herself further and watched the white figure in the distance. On her guard and acting her role, she'd not had a hard time spotting Daemon. However, Inari had escaped her notice. She kneaded the earth at her paws, thinking, claws digging at the ground...she could go meet him...but he could be border patrol and not friendly...
Cautiously, she tried to slink away unseen. Used to hunting, it wasn't a hard task, but she wasn't expecting to be hunted. All she was concentrating on was putting a little distance between her and Daemon - an easy target if Inari knew his hunter's business. So much for Asherah's "experianced, cool rogue" act.

Daemon raised a brow as the other form, the rogue..lioness he thought, there wasn't a mane he could see on the stranger, but why was she trying to get away? He felt it was rather suspicious, flicked his tail and walked after her. He didn't walk fast or too slow, and he tried to keep himself composed, to look not menacing or unfriendly, he didn't need someone who needed help or something to be ran off because he looked like he was mean.
Inari was slinking through the grass, watching a it, they...she, was slowly getting away. A lioness? He had been hunting a lioness? That wasn't good...He stood up straight, tilted his head at her, she was close, about a meter away. "Hey, its alright, don't leave..." Inari said trying to take a few more steps towards her. He loked over at Daemon that was coming closer, then to her. "He scare you? He was just giving me some tips on hunting and stalking...we couldn't tell what you were from afar. I'm sorry..." he said rambling on. Then he stopped, shook his mane form his face and gave her a smile.
"I'm Inari, who're you?"
Daemon smirked to himself as he got closer...the boy is trying to impress her? This I gotta see...

Since he'd stood up in clear sight and spoken - well, it was common courtsy to do likewise. Ash kept herself a bit tense, ready to run, that one flaw in her body language the only sign of discontentment. The Firekin that took her cousins sister just for wandering over their borders, they'd been nice, right up until they'd grabbed her....
"Not so much scared as wary, since some lions aren't exactly friendly."
The harsher growl in her voice at the start of the sentance smoothed out into her usual soft tone. As Inari had come closer in the grass, at last Asherah had heard the sounds of his movement and had been ready to snarl in warning. The raised lips and scowl of that vanished as she got up, leaving an alert but smiling expression on her face.
"I'm Asherah. And you?" Polite, she turned to look at Daemon and told the voice in her head saying 'two to one, run you idiot' to shut it.

"Unfriendly lions?" he could relate, that blue crazy fool that he found because his God friend asked to search for him. He was crazy, he was unfriendly, Inari wanted the blue male out of the Pridelands, perhaps Mrost had already came for him though...Inari would have to check on that later. Or even maybe that other strange male he found...yes, maybe one or both got the blue male.
"Everyone is friendly here, your on the border of the Pridelands, its nice here, trust me," he said with a nod. He sensed she might be a bit tense, so he tried to make no sudden movements, but he couldn't help but muse to himself in his mind of how Daemon must be muttering something under his breath...
Daemon got a bit closer, but stopped, he could've sworn that Inari was talking to Ruffian, but there was more white on this other female, different colored eyes too. Daemon huffed to himself, kept his distance, he wasn't sure if Inari wanted to 'make-nice' with this other girl. He really didn't know how younger males did it though.
"Are you just passing by? Or are you here to join? Sorry for the questions if they are a bit personal or anything," inari knew girls could get defensive on what they were actually doing. He looked to Daemon, then to Asherah, "Thats Daemon, don't mind him..."

"The blessed Pridelands...I've heard of them. My aunt once had dear friends here, a long time ago." And with that, Asherah relaxed and her mood shifted to something much more casual and simpley carefree. Hell, members of her adopted family had 'honeymoon-ed' near to this land on purpose, because it had such a nice reputation. The memory of that made her smile more genuine.
"I was just passing by, exploring away from my travelling companions. I didn't think even the Pridelands would let in a rogue easily?"
The Mistweavers had been hard to join, so said her mothers and said red aunt. Not because they weren't friendly, but because of how things had been at the time, before Asherah had been born. But, times had changed, so if - IF - Asherah ever managed to find those lands again, maybe she'd try joining. Or there was rumors of a new pride, where she could run messages for the lord of a house, who'd let anyone in because they needed numbers. Or if this place was indeed such a paradise...
"Were you a rogue once, or are you pride-born? If you don't mind me asking."

"Exploring...must be very nice," Inari said with a nod. Perhaps he should travel someday, search out the god of war to show him how he had grown recently. He was larger now, stronger, faster, more agile. Yes, Inari would be a warrior someday no matter what. Daemon seemed to understand that, but Inari wasn't sure if he was just doing that because he was a friend, or if Daemon really believed in him and his goal.
"To join you have to meet the queen," he said with a nod, "there was a female rogue that joined a little while back...looks a bit like you, body structure wise...I mean... well, you know what I mean," he said chuckling. Man, he wasn't doing well. "She came here I think because..."
"She didn't have a home and wanted one...and she was hurt..." Daemon said interjecting, flicking his tail, sitting a bit closer to Inari then where Asherah was. She did look similar to Ruff, and the brown female...he wondered if they were from the same place.
Inari shot a glare at Daemon for interrupting...older guys, think they can do what they want. Inari sighed and turned back to Asherah, "Pride born," he hoped that wasn't a bad thing that he was pride born.

"My, this place is as good as they say." She turned her head briefly to look at the Priderock, before turning her aquamarine eyes back on the pair. This could be very very intresting, this meeting. Now she'd calmed down and wasn't ready to run, Asherah was curious as to who these two were. Inari, Daemon - names she'd never come across before.
"She may be a Mistweaver? I'm half one, we think, 'since I'm skinnier than my rogue mother and grew up there. And no worries, I know what you mean by the body structure differences. I have a friend who wanted to study it and about the different pride cultures - why the Firekin are huge - why you Pridelanders see the stars and ancestors..."
"Do you believe that? That the kings are in the stars? Forgive my curiousity, but I always liked that story as a cub."

Daemon stayed quiet for the most part, gave this opportunity to talk to Inari since Inari seemed quite keen on getting to know this rouge female traveler. But the word Mistweaver, Daemon wondered if that was where Ruffian was from, where her home was. Hmm, that gave him an idea, to at least start somewhat of a conversation with her later. Then again, he didn't want to pry into Ruffian's past if it was too personal...
Inari listened, and nodded when Asherah asked him about the stars, "I do...the queen, well, the queen before ours now, our current queen's mother, she was kind to me, she helped me when I was a cub once. I'll never forget her, I like to think she and the past king watch over us all." he said with a sincere smile, yea, they could still be watching them all.
Daemon would remember Sarabi as well, his mother had known her, his sister had been named after her somewhat. Daemon liked to believe his mother, and sister were watching over him as Sarabi and Mufasa watched over everyone here.

"That must be nice, to know that they're watching still. All I was taught was to be compassionate and respect other's beliefs - but no beliefs of our own." Asherah tipped her head slightly trying to recall anything her mothers had taught her...Oh she'd picked up a few traits from the Mistweavers, but had been a rogue born by rogues from the start. Their storm god was not hers.

"Thats interesting, and I guess that's true, I've always been taught to respect others...especially with those you don't wish to cross," he was talking about Mrost. He'd never want to upset the God of War, that just wouldn't be smart. "So you've been traveling? What places have you seen, do you travel alone or with a friend?" he hoped his questions weren't too personal for her, he was just intrigued by it all. He wished to travel, hmm...maybe one day that'd be a good thing for him, a warrior in training, to do.
Daemon raised a brow at Inari, perhaps the 'kid' knew a few good things after all. Daemon didn't think for one second that Inari might be hiding some things Daemon didn't know, but perhaps Inari was hiding something. Daemon's eyes flickered back and forth between Asherah and Inari for a few moments...I wonder what he's thinking...

"I've not seen any pride lands since I was ...well, just a bit older than a cub. Your Pridelands are the first I've glimpsed since I was lost as a youngster." Asherah's tail flicked, and she turned curious eyes on the distant Pride Rock once more. She could remember little else, save that the kings were in the stars here and it was supposed to be a prosperous, friendly land her kin once visited often.
"I managed to travel to some lands were there just weren't any lions, then one day I bumped into one. So it's nice to be back in a more familular area."

Inari kept quiet, listened closely, not seen any pride lands for a while? Didn't she ever get lonely while she traveled? Inari thought it as a sad thing, but perhaps she liked traveling alone, he would never know what it was like though...unless he left to travel one day. He flicked his tail, looked to Daemon who was being quiet. "Have you met any imortals on your way?" he was curious, he wondered if she had met the god he knew.
Like he'd say anything anyway? Daemon huffed in his mind, females and their traveling, he never really asked Ruffian about her traveling, perhaps he should sometime. He flicked his tail as well, looked back in the direction of where their den was, perhaps he should leave Inari here with Asherah, let him be social with this girl while he tried to get Ruffian to be a bit more open.
