  Long blue and purple streaks of hair. That was all Lovey could see right now. She had swung her hair in front of her face just to check on the growth of the chunk she had lost not all that long ago. She giggled lightly and made her hair sway back and forth. It tickled her noise and made her smile.
Something had been bugging her lately.
Lovey wasn't old - by any means - but she was most definately finally "all-grown-up" In the past two months she had evolved from a spoilt vain brat to.. well whatever she was now. Attention from interested stallions had definately picked up. One of those stallions was proving to be a problem for her most definately.
Dirt.
Dirt.
Dirt.
She wondered if the cad was smitten with her seriously or if he pursued her for the purpose of a night of fun. Either way she was a bit confused. She tried to make her thoughts drift to something else since usually when she thought of him.. he managed to appear to make her angry..
Was there anything beneath his surface?

While Dirt was wandering around aimlessly for something to munch on he notices just off in the distance a beautiful mare he knew to be his goal for life because he knew those colors anywhere. He runs up to her quickly and casually states, "Hey there beautiful, with an expression like that there is only one thing you can be thinking of and that one and only thing is me the love of your life Dirt the stallion of your everlasting dreams.", he adds a wink and a graceful smile in at the end of his statement to her. He then looks her over head to toe and his smile widens. "You look as beautiful as ever you sexy mare you", he tries to state as a compliment but it only comes out sounding as if he was being full of himself.

Lovey jolted a bit and glanced around at the brown stallion she had been pondering over not but moments ago. She wasn't sure whether she wanted to glare at him.. or smile. It was taking some time, but it felt like whenever she was around and a few more mares as well - he would limit his cheesy come-ons and blatent womanizing to just her alone. Now of course, it was hard to tell just what EXACTLY the stallion did and with who when she wasn't around... A slight pink licked up her cheeks, out of embarresment or anger? - Who knew..
"Hello Dirt... and what makes you think I want your cheesy lines TODAY?"

He looks at her in a confused manner. "I'm talking of no cheese there cute thing I'm talking of you and your beauty.", he remarks before he notices her cheek color differ slightly, "And by the look of things it seems like you know I'm not talking cheese by any means." He then tries to play it all cool and innocent and askes, "Have I done something today to make you remark certain words in such a tone?", he then tries to give her a puppy dog eye look but completely fails at it and just ends up looking pitifuly dumb.

size=9]Lovey was utterly confused as to what exactly Dirt was up to today.. and she was somewhat cranky to say the least. She pinned an ear and dug a hoof into the ground. "If you're here to make innuendos and make me angry in general I'll tear a chunk out of you!" It wasn't in her nature to be so.. violent.. but it had not yet been a week since the "incident" with Uwihi.. only time would tell the damages that had done.

He looked at her with a hurt expression on his face. "Innuendos?... Me?... Why would I ever do such a thing? It's not in me to do such things when I'm around my vision of beauty.", he adds a proud pose with the last words he spoke. "You know I only have eyes for you unless someone else comes into view and then I can't help but throw in my thoughts on every matter that's in my mind." He then smiles at the tearing of a chunk from him statement and adds, "You must like it rough!", he trots in place like a kind of happy dance at the thought.

Lovey sighed softly and tried not to feel guilty for making the stallion look sad, after all - he was a cad and womanizer. The only reason he looked sad was because she wasn't his willing pawn - right? She shook out her mane and managed to give him another proper glare, "I see.. so I'm only "worthy" of your interest if and only IF other - prettier mares are not around?" Lovey almost laughed - ALMOST - if he thought she was his for the taking he'd have another thing coming, "and No I most certianly do not like "it" rough.. what do you mean by it?"

He looks at her curiously trying to understand her motives just a little more with every comment she makes. "Ah but alas my dear when did I ever mention anything about other mares or even hinted at the fact that one might even think to appear they'd be prettier then you?", he smirked a small chuckle after his statement but only to hold back an amused laugh at the thought of jealousy that seemed to come out from her statement to him. "If I had to explain what it was then why would I have ever mentioned anything in the first place for it could be a many number of things which is why I merely classified it as such and left all at that. I'm not one to enjoy explaining myself, though maybe for you I might consider explaining myself but it won't come easy", he licks his lips after his statement in high hopes for a reaction pleasing to his senses.

Unfortunately for Dirt.. Lovey wasn't in an obliging mood. Not only was she not trusting the reason why he was standing around but she had had more than her share of stallions that dint' like to explain things and left out details that they weren't in the mood or habit of explaining. Just a week or so ago a stupid stallion had swamped her - and while she had almost willingly been swept away it was terrifying to think of what she may now be carrying around. She bared her teeth at him aggressively, "Well then you'd be leave me alone if you don't "enjoy explaining" thing." With a quick turn she dismissed him... Although when had Dirt left when he wasn't wanted?

"Well sweet thang I did say that I might explain but just for you but I wasn't going to just up and explain myself. You must like to pick out keywords like I do.", he chuckled at the thought and added, "At least we have one thing in common!" He casually walks around to see her face to face and stares into her eyes. "You shouldn't try to shun me well at least when I've rightfully done or said anything wrong yet. At least you could give me an opportunity to stick my hoof in my mouth or something couldn't cha?"

A soft defeated sigh was the only noise that Lovey made for several moments. She was tired - sometimes she thought maybe she was a little bit dead on the inside and the rest of her just continued to force her on. Then other days she felt as wily as a young filly. "I suppose I could let you shove your hoof into your mouth.. yet why would you want to take that chance and just be silent.. Doesn't that make you appear to be more ... well-mannered?"

He thinks about what she's just said to him. After a few minutes he shuffles his hooves a bit. "If I was quiet then I'd never get the opportunity to speak to you and inregards I'd never get to hear you talk to me. That is honestly something I'd rather not have happen because even though most of the time I seem either uninterested or interested way too much it just boils down to the fact that I like you. Though those are words you probably think I say a lot when infact I've actually not used this term in an undirty way before." He walks away just to sit under a tree. "Though if you are wanting some space from me I'll oblige because I'd rather not upset you."

Lovey felt like a horrid person.. and just downright mean. Sure Dirt could say a lot of awful things concerning his views on.. other mares.. but that didn't mean she should be awful to him did it? Oi. Being nice to everthing and everybody sure could wear thin on her nerves. A slow step over to where the stallion stood and a delicate clearing of her throat was followed by the nearly inaudible, "I'm sorry."

Dirt looks at her kinda in shock for one she approached him and two she whispered to him. "I think I heard you appologize but it wasn't all that clear to me but I'm not so sure if there was anything for you to appologize for my dear." He looked at her now trying to see if he was being tricked into something. "I'm just trying in my own way to show that I might not be everything you originally thought I was and that I may act one way at one time but it's possible it's just an act and nothing more." He smiles at her after he finishes his statement hoping it made sense to her.

Unfortunately for poor Dirt.. quite a bit of what he had said to Lovey had felt garbled or she had a ball of hair in her ears. Both of which were likely to be true! She blushed all the way from muzzle to ear - or at leas the tingle of it felt it and Lovey contemplated repeating what she said, "I er... well you certainly ACT the same way around all the mares that I've seen you with.. Why would I be any different I'm nothing out of the ordinary."
