Akiko was finding out the hard way that the bundle of joy she had found in a dumpster was not so keen on being outdoors like most babies were. She had returned to the surface world to visit her mother and had ended up finding her father there as well. Of all times to run into him, this was the worst. She had to explain in full length how she had happened upon the bundle of crying, and why exactly she felt the sudden need to keep her. She also had to explain as to why his son was now living with her and not their mother. Sigh. Why must life be a pain in the a**?
Akiko scanned the park area with her eyes, being content that there weren't too many other people about. She would have been embarrised that she couldn't get a baby to stop crying. Lark wasn't this fussy when he was a child. Gently she rocked the strawberry-blond headed child and hummed for her, keeping the dim light of the rainy day from her eyes.

Opec was not entirely unhappy that the twins had been shunted upon him. Uziri didn't stab him with screwdrivers, and he was by far used to Irizu's shrieking, and so all was well.
"Look!" Irizu suddenly piped up, releasing her father's hand and tugging at her sisters, "Look! That baby's all bloody!"
Leave it to Rizu to notice that before anything else.

Rather lonely without Isaiah - which was odd, considering how often she went outside without him - Uziri stuck close to Irizu and her Da, chewing on a dandelion stem she had seemingly manifested out of thin air.
"Hmm?" she said intelligently at her sister's observation, looking around eagerly. She spotted the infant and gave a squeal. "She is! Neat!"

Akiko lifted her pastel pink head of hair when she heard the squeal of the two girls in the distance. Oh s**t, she thought to herself, I hope their parent doesn't report me for child abuse. Akiko had this small panic attack in her head, while her outward appearance didn't even resemble it. She was hoping nothing of the sort would happen, as she could never really explain as to why the blood on the child would never come off. Not even the nurses or doctors in the hospital at Somber coudl figure it out.
She lifted a hand from underneath Liadan and gave the three a smile and a half-way as a greeting. The silken wrapped child was starting to settle herself, despite her obvious dislike for how bright it was outside. She had a hand in her mouth which was now dripping blood and drool all over her blanket and clothes. That was probably one of the most irritating things; no matter how much Akiko washed the clothes, and tried to keep her form shoving her hands in her mouth, she managed to get them in there and the blood never managed to come off.

"Daddy, daddy, can we go see her?!" Irizu begged. She only ever called her father 'daddy' when she really wanted something.
"Don't ask me, go ask the ncie lady." Opec looked up and gave the woman with the redheaded infant an unsure shrug.
"Okay! Okay! Let's go ask if we can touch it, Zee! C'mon!"

Uziri ran after her sister, hellbent on racing to see who could reach the bleeding baby first.
"I bet, I bet, um, I bet she's got like a jun-gle dizzies," she said, looking hopeful. An exotic disease would be fun to discover! ...and not contract, because being sick was no fun. But still!

Akiko sighed. This was shaping up to be a busy day afterall. She smiled at the two girls that came rushing over, and pulled the silken blanket away from Liadan's face abit so they could get a better look at the baby.
Liadan cooed for a moment before reaching up for Akiko's face to smear the slobber and blood all over it.

Irizu reached the infant and stood on her tiptoes, peering up.
"Ooooh...pretty baby," she cooed and reached out with a tiny finger to poke a bit of the red on the child's arm. How strange!
Opec watched from a safe distance of a few feet, ready to tackle the toddler away if need be.

"Pretty hair," Uziri agreed, nodding hard enough to make her hood fly back. "And drippy. Hey lady, how come your baby-thing's drippy?"
It looked like the stuff Da ate all the time. Or ketchup. Maybe the baby-thing had had an accident with a glass ketchup bottle? That would be sad, though...but she didn't seem to be in pain. Hmm.
"You are weird," she said to the infant, nodding happily in approval.

"Ahhh. Thank you. She's not really mine though...We found her abandoned outside my apartment..." Akiko murmured politely, thinking on Uziri's question for a moment. "She's bleeding. We don't exactly know why. Everytime she gets her hands wet they bleed. And we can't stop them from being wet because she likes to nurse on them." She answered.
She scanned the two girls thoughroughly, taking in the strange aura they both held about them. It urked her abit knowing what they were, in a sense.
Liadan heard the two speaking and fussed, her eyes starting to tear. There was two new people around her, and she didn't know who they were or if they were safe.

"That means she's yours!" Irizu said happily, "Daddy found Rizu in a rock, and Iz found Zee through a door!" Her brow furrowed in concern, however, as the baby began to cry. It wasn't fun to be sad.
"Is your baby okay?" she asked, raising a gentle hand and running it down the baby's arm comfortingly.
Opec looked on in wonder. It was times like that when Irizu seemed to somehow skip ahead in age.

Uziri preened a bit.
"I made a big HOLE in Da's door," she notified the woman proudly. Her attention drew down to the baby, and she made a tutting sound. Poor thing. "Is she sad 'cause she's leaky? I bet she has to have lossa baths..."
Getting wet was rarely fun unless puddles were involved, and Zee shuddered to think about the state of the baby's bath water. They'd keep washing and washing to get rid of the eternal blood flow, and she'd be stuck being cleaned forever. Horrors!

"She'll be fine," Akiko answered, giving Irizu and Uziri a smile of reassurance, "She just isn't used to so many new people at once. So far all she's known is me, my Fiancé and my little brother."
Akiko gave a small laugh at Uziri's pride in the fact she made a hole in her father's door. "When I was a little older than you two, I could walk up walls..." She smirked, the lines under her eyes forming creases to give her a more mature and devious look than she normally was.

"That's kinda cool," Irizu nodded in approval, smiling up at the woman, "We can grab things wif' our oor-oors, can't we, Zee?!" For a moment, all thoughts of the infant were abandoned for her sister.

Uziri nodded seriously, a tendril of her shadow aura curling over her shoulder.
"Yeah," she said, preening a bit, "I ca' throw stuff. And this one time? I, I poked Oliver in the eye. He said a bad word, but then Da gave me ice cream and said I was a goo' girl."
