Ok, on one of the other threads, someone said that in every stage show they do the porticellus(sp) thing in MOTN, or whatever song. DO THEY?!? Because I'm going to see it with my PARENTS in August, and I kinda should prepare myself for it. (Yes, it might take that long to do so.)
Although this is sorta an answer thread, I'm not gonna post it in the questions thing because I forget where it is.
HELP!!!

Yuppers. Le Erik goes all 'Porn Star' on the gate and Christine pounces.
But dont worry, its really not THAT bad. I mean, it lasts for about... 5 seconds, and then Christine runs from him. I saw it with my mom, she didn't even notice it. I dont think you have anything to worry about.
(And questions go in the 'Manager's Office', I believe)

The Q and A forum here is the Managers' Office. I'll move it.

Thanks, Uta. I forgot about the office subforum. And thanks K-mage, luckily my parents aren't exactly the most perceptive people on the planet, so maybe they won't notice.

Well, I watched MOTN from Crawford (ahem, thank goodness for youtube...) and I noticed the gate thingy, but that's because the camera was rather...zoomed in on him. Eh, I don't worry right now, we're not gonna be a camera on stage or anything, so I'm fine.

Well depending on your seating, you probably won't be able to see it as well anyway.

Utakan Well depending on your seating, you probably won't be able to see it as well anyway. Iono where our seats are, but still. My parents don't exactly have the best..erm, stage-vision? I don't know. (can't think while you're singing in my head, Merik. Eheh... redface )

Well, the stage will be a bit dim anyway, so they may not see it as well as you might.

If it makes you feel any better, a lot of actors don't do the portcullis writhe near as suggestively as MC did. I'd be more worried about The Pose and all the groping in PONR if I were you.

The Pose = that trademark stance from MOTN (I think it's around the 'Floating, falling...' line) that's on a lot of the posters and such, with Erik's arm around Christine's neck and her hand on the mask. This 'un: Anyway, the lead-up to the pose involves him coming up behind Christine and running his hand up the front of her dress. As we can see from the last picture, some Phantoms use that opportunity for a little pervyness. *cough*TedKeegan*cough* ... wow, I actually remember the entire choreography for that scene. That's scary.

Very much so, Fox. I hereby dub thee as SuperPhan. Aside from the mods in this guild, however.
@Elanchana: I never said I didn't like it, I just think my parent's won't.
As for the Pose, yeah. "Stop groping her, Erik! Save it for Point of No Return!" Christine: "I don't mind..."
er...sorry bout that, you don't wanna know what my RL friends and I talk about, it's about 3 times worse than what I just said..
