hi guys. So, I was on twisting the hellmouth.com and theres this challange in the site with an AB corssover with Buffy and its mommy anita. Wouldn't it be funny if Anita had kids? Can you imagen? and Jean-claude spoiling them. and such. I love the fanfictions so far, that people have come up with. Wouldn't it be so much fun to be Anita's daughter? Well, wouldn't it? What do you think?

First, one of my faves: Tears in our CheeriosBuffy jumps through the portal in place of Dawn and ends up 10 years younger. Second, a series of stories by a great Anita Blake fanfic author: Dawning LightDawn jumps through the portal in place of Buffy and ends up about 6 years old. Third, a series of ficlets: Anita Blake, executioner,animator and...mother?There's been a few that I've read but I'll need to hunt 'em down.

i was actually really excited when i read Dance Macabre and there was going to be a baby. and then there wasnt a baby and ever since my friends and i have contemplating what anita would be like as a mom.
i personally think i would be adorable but thats just me. i hope that LKH makes anita a mom sometime in the series it would be interesting.
as long as richard isnt the father. that would suck to end.

Anita as a mom would be very intersting but down the line very complicating the series.I don't think it would be a good idea. confused

I rather dislike the idea of being Anita's child or Anita having children, actually. It seems there'd be a high infant mortality associated with being Anita's child. People would always be trying to assissinate you in order to hurt her, you'd be surrounded by violence, etc. On the other hand, you'd probably be rich, have awesome powers, and be surrounded by hot people. Depends on your priorities, I s'pose.
And you silly people--Anita already has kids. She sacrifices goats for her zombie-raisings, remember? (I suppose she doesn't sacrifice baby goats, so they're not technically kids, but for the sake of the joke, you know.)

Everyone would be all: OMG BABIES!!!! Jean-Claude would make them dress in frilly baby clothes....XDDDDDD
Also, Everyone would fight if they were Richard's....I hope their Nathanel's!

I agree with Ms. Shark.
Babies would be trouble. BUT it would give an interesting new plot twist to the series, one thing I will say about the later books is your really lose focus on everyday life with Anita. I remember reading about her pet Angel fish, and sigmund, how long has it been since Sigmund as made an appreance?
I think the plot needs something to pull it away from all this internal conflict...and more on worldly things. I know that seems like a silly request seeing as the characters and conflict is anything but worldly. I just have a hard time relating to Anita anymore.
Point: A baby could do the series some good. And Anite some bad.

Like Anita say's a baby wouldn't work in her live, but it would work for Nate and Micah...Hell even Richard if he ever pulled his head out of his butt.

I don't know about Anita, but I'd sure like to have Nathanial's babies! I can't help it. He's just too sexy and parts of him remind me of my bf. But then, I see parts of Micah and Jean-Claude in my bf too. Thank god no Richard. Well, a bit of a temper, but never towards me. Whew sweatdrop

Mowgli (as in Jungle Book) causes a baby to age in the mother's stomach as fast as the animal that sired it so say a woman gets pregnant by a changed shifter and their animal has a 6 month pregnacy you may end up giving birth before you body is ready and somtimes the baby will be going along fine then have a sudden growth spurt and be ready to deliver that day. Vlad (as in Vlad Tepes aka Vlad the Impaler and the man that Dracula was based off of) causes the baby to sometimes eat its way out the mother prematurely killing both the mother and itself.
