you've seen it before on the forums. mainly the chatterbox and the GD. young teenagers, usually around 15-17 prancing around with their usernames involving the words Hitler and Nazi. Hitler f**, Nazi Sex, anything. You see it everywhere here.
there are over 200 names on gaia with usernames beginning with hitler or nazi.
they are most likely all ignorant teenagers who have a "fetish" for bondage.
so i ask you, what are your feelings on this? does it make you angry? do you choose to ignore it, or do you fight it? have you seen members with these names?

Hmm...Well, I think it rather does annoy me a lot. I like the fact that "Hitler" and "Nazi" are associated with evil and wrongdoing, but it takes away from the true, indescribable horrors that existed. Somehow the term "Grammar Nazi" seems to really detract from what a true Nazi was like, and it's a bit frustrating. I hate it when people compare their hardships to those in the past, when nobody today has any idea of what it would have been like. For example, people call their teachers "Nazi b****" or whatever, and it's just stupid! No matter how annoying the teacher is, that gives them no right to even implicate their lives are bad, or that they felt bondage of any sort.
I'll stop ranting before I get too passionate, but I'll give you this as a last note: the title totally caught my attention. xd

When I see a siggy with a swastika in it, or a name starting with "Hitler" (that little $#@$%#%#@) or "Nazi", sure I get streamed up. But I don't get really upset because I think it's just flashy usernames to them. They don't really take the Holocaust seriously, because if they did, they wouldn't be putting it in their usernames, and if they went as far to put it in their usernames, they wouldn't put something meaningless like "nazi sex".
The main reason I don't get mad is that I ranted the hell out of myself by writing a 97-page book about two teens in the Holocaust.

Teenage rebellion.
When I was a high school freshman, we did the same thing, except with Communist imagery (since most of the kids I hung around 9th grade were all Jewish xd ).
I'm sure that offended people, but that was kind of the point. We thought it was punk rock or whatever.

If they are just lame trolls I dont care, but when they turn out to be Nazi idolizing people who go on and on about how great the Nazi's or Hitler was, I get pissed.
I also dislike the ones who post swastika's everywhere and just go "Well it means something else" as if that makes it ok.

That Joesph Mengele (sp?) troll makes me swear whenever I see him around. And I ignore friend requests and pm's from people with Hitler or Nazi in their names. I don't care if they are only joking or whatever other stupid reason they have, even if they don't mean it in an actual racist way I don't want to talk to someone that immature and insensitive.

there was a member of the geedee who had a picture of a swastika on their sig. someone commented it on their profile.
this guy said, something along the lines of "thank you so much for this sig! i really hate it when others hate on the nazis for their beliefs".
please, does anyone else see the hypocrisy in that comment?
it may be rebellious, but it's just wrong.
i've seen this a few times, a girl or boy with a picture of an anime character with a swastika, or just a swastika in general. even a joke picture of hitler. and in their dislikes, they write "homophobia and racism".
i just don't get it. i may be young as well, but there's something wrong about what they do.
