Okay, I just thought I'd ask this, but what in the world is a break in a relationship? Like what are the terms and boundaries for such a thing? My ex-boyfriend wanted one of these breaks twice during the whole year and a half together, and to this day I still have no idea what the hell it is. I asked him once, but he didn't give me much of an answer. stare What do you guys think?

Well.. It does depend on what you and your partner expect from the break. You can either not hang out with/talk to each other at all; talk, but not so much.. Talk, but not hang out.. Stuff like that.. It's what you and your partner have decided to make of it..

A break usually is a period of time where a couple get a bit of time apart you know, to chill a bit from each other.
