If you had a gundam...what would you name it? And what would be its main characteristics?

I would name one Falthos...because it has a nice ring...but lame...I know hehe I bet you guys can think up much better ones hehe

As for a few simple characteristics...I would have a weapon that is like a boomerang that is made of a beam-saber so I could throw it, slice up enemies and have it come back (with a protective arm guard to catch it when it returns to me.) I would have an 2 oblong shields that would attach to the back that are removable if need be but act as boosters when sealed together and attached. It would be primarily dark blue, white and orange...

And as for weapons... it would probably resemble Trowa Bartons Heavyarms except more sleek in design. Lots of guns cuz I'm not a close contact combat kinda person. And it wouldn't need to be very high in damage intake... cuz I'm really sneaky ^.^ I don't really know what else, oh I would paint it green!! mrgreen

Well, I've already come up with Wing Gundam Zephyr, which uses Wing Zero's frame as a basis. The weapon loadout is the biggest difference. Instead of a buster rifle, the main weapon is sort of like Zeta Gundam's main weapon, a beam cannon/beam saber combo. It keeps the wing vulcans, and also adds a pair of missile launchers to the legs. The overall color scheme is silver and grey.

My favorite of my original designs would be Gundam Scylla. The overall design is extremely lightly armored, and covered in high powered thrusters. Rather than holding weapons, the hands have been modified into large claws that can tear through a mobile suit, maybe sheathed in some sort of energy field in order to increase the power. On the back is a large device that stores the main weapons: six multi-segmented extending arms, each ending with a four-clawed, symmetrically arranged hand that has a beam cannon in the center. The pilot must be able to multi-task (spatial awareness, newtype abilities, etc.) in order to use the weapon system. As a back-up, the Scylla also has a "mouth" that contains a beam cannon for surprise attacks. It's mostly lavender and dark grey.

The partner to Scylla is, of course, Gundam Charybdis. A heavily armored mech, it's chunkiness resembles, for SRT/SRW players, the body of R-2; for everyone else, imagine a chunkier, squarer Guncannon, minus the guns. The armor is more than just that though; embedded in the armor from top to bottom are numerous missile launchers. The left arm is about twice the size of a normal arm, and has a large shield running down its entire length. The hand is a three-fingered crusher that can seriously damage most mobile suits. It has a pair of heavy gatling guns on the left shoulder. Its main weapon is a large, right hand-held beam cannon, but its most deadly weapon is the railgun. Mounted on the back, and stabilized and operated by the right hand, it is the largest and most beastly railgun you've ever seen. Not that the projectiles are large; they're fairly small, so Charybdis can hold a lot of ammo. Rather, they are extremely dense, much like the spherical breaker of Gundam SEED's Raider Gundam, and at max velocity are capable of penetrating a battleship's exterior armor with ease; if the pilot has a layout of the enemy ship's design, he can easily disable most of the important stuff. It does, however, take lots of energy to fire, and can't be aimed or charged quickly, making it mostly useless in combat against enemy MS. Haven't thought of a color scheme yet.

So yeah... I kinda rambled, but that's some of my ideas.

I actually am writing several different fanfics that involve girl gundams with a simulator (kind of like the ones in G-Gundam) only with the Gundam taking on the outfit, etc. of the girl inside biggrin

Mine would probably be Angel. She has large, white wings and a staff that's taller then she is. On top of the staff is a half moon and a star. She can shoot bolts out of it that send a debilitating electric shock through her opponents. She also has a harp (an angel, remember??). It is more of a defensive weapon, allowing her to confuse her enemies and even lull some to sleep. OR she can use it as an offensive weapon by playing badly and making her adversaries deaf biggrin biggrin

Because of the simulator that is the cockpit, the suit takes on the outfit of the pilot. Angel, therefore, would be dressed in the same outfit as myself. A long, flowing white gown with a halter top and a thigh-high split on both sides, and wrap heels that tie right below the knee.

This would be the one of the five that is most like myself...Let me know if you want to hear about the other four biggrin biggrin biggrin

It wouldn't be cloth on the Gundam....it would be a metal of some kind...not exactly sure what....but it wouldn't be cloth...The girls would have cloth on, though....Like Domon and everyone in G-Gundam.
