Physical looks:
Facial Features~ Painfully handsome as most vampire like creatures are meant to be, but with a very obvious facial expression that reads. ‘You can either make me cry or make me wail on you.’ As the gentleman will so nicely put it.
Body/Torso~ He’s very lean, but at the same time it should be noted he is not without the absence of a good muscle structure that does not make him look too silly with his skinny frame and such.
He has long, gangly arms and thin fingers.
Hairstyle~ Very scruffy and spiky, it is flicked upwards from the back of his neck, lick it’s been brushed upwards but at is reaches his head it flows into a wave of softly curved spikes that aim forward.

Eye Colour:
Left Eye~ The left eye is clouded, misty blue like it is blind for that’s where the vetala or human corpse was scarred before passing away.
Right Eye~ Very dark greyish black around the edges of the iris but gets lighter to an almost silver rim around the pupil.

Hair Colour: Purple blue (dark lilac or violet) at the tips of his bangs that turns to a bright green (Neon Green) as they get to the top of his head.
However, some of the colourings do falter slightly, almost like poorly done highlights.

Skin Colour: Light grey, however his fingers are darker grey almost black.

Markings: A black, tribal like tattoo or birthmark on the right cheek just under his eyes.

Height: 6’9’’

Abilities: Goes through something every time he is angered, he and Shadow call it ‘The Rage’ because he becomes so angry he will attack everything he see’s.
So in reality it's more like a curse.

Mental State: Schizophrenia and Multiple Personality Disorder. <---Going under review.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral/True Neutral

Likes: Vinegar, Being alone, the colour gray, George Romero films, finding out more about his past, wondering his very existence and the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.

Dislikes: The number 5, being touched, socialising, being made fun of, being sent into a ‘The Rage’, being called Grumpy Draws, Fluffy or Moony, being alone and the thought of going mad.

~The fel essence in question is literally a hunk of Magma from the moon that has not crystallized or cooled in the length of time the moon has been orbiting the earth and is still in it's mostly liquid form.
And trust me that is a lot of time.
However is has become silver like the rest of the moon’s surface, despite its heat. And there for has an eternal mystery surrounding its very existence to this very day.

This soul will be that of the vetala and the remnant soul of the body it inhabited at the time of both their ‘death’s’ merged together.


Brief Background on Soul:
When alive, the name of the vetala's corpse or host was that of a young child named Badal.
His family had lived in India for countless years and generations, so when the last son of the family passed away, the one's left alive were distraught.
The boy had died of the plague, where at that time, had claimed other lives that where too young, old or weak to stay alive.

When he was buried, a wandering, one eye'd vetala named Yuyutsu took over the boy's gray skinned, half rotten body and started to cause havoc with his old family.
Yututsu was very cruel, through the years he caused nothing but misery and grief to the family using their last son's body as his vessel.
However, as the child had not had a proper burial, his soul still harboured within the body, only to be repressed by Yuyutsu's power.
And it was only till the years went on, did the two souls slowly begin to merge with one another.

Two souls cannot inhabit the same body without something happening to make more room.

The two formed a half sided symbiotic relationship.
Badal's soul would only appear to get Yuyutsu out of trouble or to help people he cared about.
And Yuyutsu used his powers to protect his and Badal's body.
Neither one cared for each other, for in a way, it was like someone had invaded their home and now to share it with the invader.

Everynight, when Yuyutsu awoke, he would find himself and Badal staring at the moon.
Knowing the boy was thinking of the day's he was alive and when he himself would stare at the moon, thinking of his future.
But now he stared at it, just to think of those happy memories with his family he would never have again.

Finally after many years, the last of the family had died.
It left Badal grief stricken and Yuyutsu outraged he had no more human's to toy with!
This sadness and anger, finally led to a condition that is nowaday's called 'The Rage'.
The boy went off on a rampage that lasted for five day's, before finally, not able to take how much pain he was causing the people around him, Badal, through sheer will power, through himself and in doing so, threw Yuyutsu, into the river.
Where both of them died as a merged soul, forever wandering the earth alone.

What will the Raevan be like when he is brought into this world?:
Confused and curious about what he is.
He'll not want to be touched but at the same time he'll not ever want to be alone, so he'll be frustrated and angry most of the time which will probably confuse and maybe frighten the people around him.
Due to his split personality he'll have two side's of his person.
Kael (who would be Badal's soul) and Leak (who would be Yuyutsu's soul), Kael being his normal, confused, frustrated self and Leak being the side of him in 'The Rage'.
Angry, bloodthirsty and without a shred of doubt, Evil.
However he will ONLY appear when Kael is provoked or angered immensly, because that's how 'The Rage' works.
Other than that it will be up to his environment and surroundings to ensure what sort of person/Raevan he develops into.

Q: You say in Kael's profile that he likes to 'find out more about his past', I thought Raevan's forgot everything because they where reborn into their new bodies. So can you explain that?

A: Yes I can, I remember reading somewhere in the thread or the guild that the guardian of the Fel Essence is supposed to have dreams of the captured soul's past.
Well this is basicly it.
Stacey will ALWAYS write down her dreams, sort of a compulsive little hobby of her's and Kael being as curious as he is will find the book and read through it but he won't understand it totally or maybe at all.
And he is just a genuinely curious creature that want's to know more about himself

Q: Why does he like (or will like) George Romero films?

A: Probably because he has a strong connection to death and such and also because George Romero is awesome.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE FEL ESSENCE FOR MIELA? ;-;
I NEED IDEAS

I like your fel essence idea for the first Raevan. It's one of the more unique ones I've seen and you've also explained how it differs from "typical" moon magma.

However, personally I find the whole schizto/Multiple Personality mental disorder thing to be rather overdone. Not only is it not conducive to a typical RP environment as other characters are greatly hindered from establishing any meaningful interaction with such a character (really, would an average, healthy, mentally stable person or character really get along with or want to interact with a mentally instable and potentially dangerous individual?)

Additioanlly, most of the times it is very poorly RP'd, or used to cover up bad RP skills (i.e. because one is unable to RP a character's personality consistently, they use MPD/split personality disorders to cover up for this lack of consistency or their own indecision at being able to decide on a single character personality).

Another reason why these "mental disorders" are oftentimes so poorly RP'd is that most people don't understand the disorders themselves--probably because most people don't HAVE it and don't interact with people who actually have those type of disorders. Not to say that you'd RP this Raevan badly, since I've never seen you RP before, but just out of my personal experience 9.99999 out of 10 people who incoporate these types of mental illnesses in their characters often do it very very poorly.

I beg to differ with Ebony Shade. For one, having a "split personality" is NOT a "Realistic" flaw. People who actually have this "Flaw" accounts for less than 2% of the entire population. I have to wonder at how many people with MPD Ebony knows for her to consider it a "normal" trait >_>; I consider "realistic" flaws as encompassing things such as being forgetful, being overly prideful, vain, not being stick thin or perfect looking, vulnerable, being stupid, socially awkward, etcetera etcetera.


Additionally, the Raevan's power is linked to their fel essence (Laz/Eternal flames--> fire, Roux-->ice, etc). How does the fel essence of "molten moon magma" correspond to this "Rage" thing you mention?

If you are really bent on doing the whole schizto/MPD thing, I would suggest you do some more research on both illnesses and create at least a detailed description of how each illness affects how the Raevan views the world and interacts with others. Additionally, people are usually not born with MPD. Multiple Personality Disorders are usually caused by repeated trauma. What kind of trauma did your Raevan or soul suffer through to cause him/her to have this type of mental illness?


So, with that in mind, what would be the different alters that an MPD Raevan posseses? Are they aware of each other? What triggers the dominance of any particular alter? How do they interact with others? How do they interact with themselves? How many alters are there? You must know that for MPD there are a distinct and finite amount of personalities, it's not that the person can just switch their personality whenever they feel like to whatever they feel like.
