The sound of humming echoed over the waves every so often. Despite this, however, the cub at play was actually no where near the sea. She was on the other side of the dunes where the sand met dirt, dig, dig, digging every so often, upturning sand with her white-toed little paws in search of something.
Kinda'hima, the youngest of the most recent sea-pride litter, was wandering about for the first time without the company of her many siblings, mother, or father. This didn't mean she had wandered away from the den and into danger, however, she knew well enough to stay close enough to be within calling range. She just wanted to see what it was like to have a tiny bit of space.
Most of the time was spent cuddling with either of their parents, Kinda being very much a baby in the group, playful and bold, but very affectionate. "Momma said there were seashells 'round here somewhere... I wonder if I'll find any today?"

Wacheza heard his sister making noise, and poped his head up over the sand dune, spitting out a small smooth shell, letting it fall on his sister's head, "Kinda'hima, I found one for you... but I got it out of the sea near the rocks... it wasn't in the sand."
Wacheza wasn't usually proned to noticing things like that, but since he had known that his younger sister was interested in it, he had actually kept an eye out for them, even though it disturbed his usual train of thought. He was willing to take time out of his... well, the schedual he kept busy in his own mind, to help out his little sister.
