When people describe you, and he says that your fat or chubby in that description, do you mind when that person says that? Do you feel uncomfortable or hurt? Are you okay with it and find nothing wrong?

It depends on how it's said. If the person goes "OMG she is sooooo fat ewww gross." I obviously have a problem with that.
But if they are doing it in a way thats not offensive, like say they were trying to describe me to someone and they say "Oh, she's the girl who always wears the hoodie, who is fat" then I'm all good with that.

I agree with the person above me.
If they don't mean it offensive, I don't take it offensive.... I am fat, so I can't really get pissy at them for that.
Although I prefer being described as chubby rather than fat, unless I'm saying it.

I agree...only because when I was teased in high school, I was called fat most of the time. Chubby doesn't bother me, big doesn't bother me, but fat does.
I guess it was a term I never liked. It was only a noun to me at first, like the fat content in food or on a person. As I got older it was being used on me as an adjective...like I no longer had a name. Fat was my label, and apparently it disgusted people. Bleh but anyway that's a whole other story...didn't mean to bring the thread into downer-ville!!
Um, here let me bring the thread back up...uh... BUNNIES!! sweatdrop

I love my body and I'm very confident, but someone describing me and using either one of those words would bother me.
I wouldn't describe anyone as being skinny and I wouldn't describe anyone as being fat because I find both rude. I guess I'm like my best friend, who gets bothered when people describe her as skinny. It is probably because you grow up with "fat" and "chubby" as being insults. Even if you don't think they are insults, the person using the words probably think of them that way. I don't need to be insulted.
Now..the words "bigger" or "smaller" are completely different.
(I don't know how to make sense sweatdrop ....sorry.)

I take it offensively even if it isn't supposed to be. Ever since the 3rd grade when I first gained extra weight, when this one boy called me fat.

I don't want someone to say I'm fat.
I don't say other people are fat.
I would rather use ... "kinda big"

I agree with many peoples here already. I don't mind those terms as long as they're not used derogatorily. I prefer, however, "big" and "plump," if I get to pick.
