A weather-worn wooden sign, depicting a sailor leaning out of the crows nest of a ship, hangs squeeking in the wind over the doorway of a rundown looking building along the wharfs edge. Inspite of its seedy appearance, music, raucus laughter, and other sorts of noise spill out of its doorway into the dirty cobbled street. 'Tisnt a pretty place, the occupants aren't what you'd call pretty either...but the barkeep builds a decent pint, and the fire is always there for a weary traveler to warm him or herself by.

Captain hiro flung open the door of his favorite drinking establishment "Hello ladies and gentlemen!" His enthusiasm was killed off sadly by the sound of silence. The bar was almost compleatly empty. Even the pretty elf with the tip getters was absent. He looked around bewildered.

Gwen slowly wandered into the Tavern. Her hair was hidden beneath the usual hat and her eyes were directed towards the ground. Today, her clothing consisted of the usual boyish style; black cloth pants, soft leather boots and white ruffle front shirt. As she slid into a seat at the bar she glanced around for the tender.

Captain Hiro notices a young lad taking a seat at the bar. He was relieved that there was at least some one else here. He made his way to the bar taking off his hat setting it down on the bar with a smirk. "Good mornin lad"

Crap! She had been noticed! She winced and tugged that hat further down over her face with a nod. “Mornin.” Her voice was soft as to not give away the girlish tone and there was a slight accent to it but, the accent was hard to place.

Ping backed through the door, her hands full of the things she'd bought at market. Her Green eyes shone as bright as her smile as she saw that she had customers. "Good morning friends!" She glided past the two and began putting the mornings chores in the kitchen. Peaking back out "I'll be right with you boys!"

Captain Hiro smiled as his favorite tavern wench entered. "No worries love, take yer time The lad and I are in no rush, Are we lad" He smirked to the boy.

She lifted her head but, just barely and looked out of the corner of her eye at the man. Why was he smirking? She shivered slightly and lowered her head again. “Not to big of a hurry, no.”

Ping walked out of the kitchen with a big smile on her face as she looked over her customers. It was Hiro, looking good as always and a young man she didnt know. She got a bottle of hiros favorite rum ready and set it in front of him with a wink. Looking to the young boy. "And how about you?"

"Vodka, whiskey which ever m'lady." It had been said that Gwen could charm a catfish into a frying pan now, whaether this was true or not was debatable but, she would try. No, she didn't go for women {obviously} but, she did have to keep up her act. Gwen smiled and lifted her head enough for the woman to see it but not enough for her whole face to be veiwed.

Ping Smiled to the boy that was obviously trying hard to charm her, She was flattered She nodded and gave him a polite curtsy getting his drink fro him. "Here you are cutie!"

Hiro nodded to the boy "That will put hair on your chest lad." He took his rum pouring a shot "And thank you ping your looking beautifal as ever."

Gwen nodded her thanks, adjusted her hat and remained silent for a moment. After a moment she spoke again, slightly louder but the volume was still low enough to mask it's true tone. "Thank ya ma'am."

"Anytime dear" She smiled at the young lad. And turned to the local nucense that she was quite fond of. "Well well If it isnt the infamous Captain Hiro. Not out causing trouble today?"

Generally listening into people's conversations is bad but, Gwen couldn't help herself and she listened intently while still giving off the appearance she was lost in her beverage. She couldn't help it, the girl was just curious like that.
