In just a weeks time, we have the premiere on our screens of Doctor Who!! blaugh Yet, we haven't got alot of details about the monsters/villans for the new series. Yes, we know about the Juddon!!! However, i read in today's News Of The World, the headline: Granny's a Sucker For WhoQuote: A BLOOD-SUCKING granny shows Dr Who what's what in the first scary episode of the new series. The wicked wrinkly, played by Anne Reid, is really an alien in disguise who tries to drain the timelord (David Tennant) of his blood. Seems it's just as well that his gorgeous new assistant Martha Jones, played by Freema Agyeman, is a medical student. I guess that's why the Doctor passes out and Martha comes to the rescue. sweatdrop I hope this is going to be the place to discuss the monsters of series 3. Hoping for your thoughts, ErinaStar wink

Firstly, may I just suggest that you put a little *May Contain Traces of Spoilers* in the thread title, so that there is no need to white out certain parts of peoples posts biggrin Secondly, I read a couple of days ago about the second episode, The Shakespeare Code. Apparantly these alien things are controlling shakespeare and the Doctor and Martha have to stop them or risk the future being changed :O And the unfortunate thing about time travel is if they fail, they can't go back and try again! DUN DUN DUN!!! Here's the synopsis from www.drwho-online.co.uk Quote: The BBCi Press Office have released the synopsis for Episode Two: The Shakespeare Code. For Martha's first trip in the Tardis, the Doctor takes her back in time, to Elizabethan England, as the third series of Russell T Davies's Doctor Who continues. When they find William Shakespeare under the control of deadly witch-like creatures, they must battle forces from the dawn of the universe to stop history being changed for ever. David Tennant plays the Doctor and Freema Agyeman plays his new companion, Martha Jones. Dean Lennox Kelly guest stars as William Shakespeare. The Shakespeare Code airs on BBC One on Saturday 7th April 2007 at 7:00pm.

For future reference i have put: *May Contain Traces Of Spoilers* 3nodding
Also, that's some good information, Shakesphere being controlled, that would be a total cliff-hanger!! The aliens disguised as witches is a good idea!! 3nodding xd
Well, that's all i have at the moment. sweatdrop

Well all the pics i have seen on that website didn't really effect me, well it didn't spoil my thoughts on the episodes. Yet i was looking at the sreies 3 guide to all the actors in the episodes, and i found this: Quote: Episode Eleven: Utopia T.B.A. (Blue Peter Competition Winner) - (T.B.C) I guess that i should look into this for more information.

Yeah. episode Eleven ... Captain Jack Harkness is back then ... that's the typical placement for the useless episode, as well as episode 10, last year was 10 and 11 xd Although the Olympic Torch thing was nice.

Well, they just have to do an episode where there isn't much of the Doctor and his companion in, e.g. Love & Monters.
Also, it's good to see the Captain Jack Harkness is back!!! blaugh

I think it'll be mainly the winner of the competition for the episode. If you saw the contest entry thingy, they gave you a choice of three scripts which you had to record yourself doing. They might have had three different storylines depending on the winner, or the scripts meant nothing xd It was a short thing, I would have entered but I am too old sad

On the Blue Peter website, they haven't put anything about it yet, however they are asking for questions for Freema on her new role as the Doctor's assistant (i put my question about a week ago).
Maybe they will mention something then or later, also i think i maybe just a bit too old for it too. sweatdrop

I can see why they haven't released the name of the winner, they didnt want the person to be harassed to release what happens, but the person could have blabbed XD
