Feroz was enjoying the heat, but not the sunlight, which made him squint irritably, trying to shade his eyes with an pitch black hand. He was to some extent accustomed to it, but being accustomed to a thing and enjoying it were separate matters.
Illiam had always liked it less, but he hadn't seen the pink eyed Drow in some time, they'd been separated and he still wondered exactly what had happened, though there was a seed of doubt about him that hadn't been there previously.
The elf-coursier was attention catching though it had been mentioned by his own 'guardian'. ((As if he needed any such thing...HIM?)) that there would be surface elves about, seeing one was still, like the sunlight, a differnet matter.
...And then of course there was the question of what he was -drinking-. Like a lot of surface things it was facinatingly colorful, which inherantly made him wonder if it was safe to drink, but then again even an -surface- elf wouldn't drink something knowingly that was poisonous would they?
".....What in the name of Lollths a$$ are you -drinking-??"

The bubbles, in Feroz's mind, looked something like peculiar, unfertalized eggs from something large and amphibious, but probably in a blessing for the appetite of others involved, Hyde's words were considerably more distracting.
The elf had gone out of his way to call him by name, not even by just first name, but by his whole name. Not something he was entirely comfortable with, when being thusly addressed generaly meant at least as much trouble as being genericly refered to as "Drow."
"...I don't beleive I've garnered sufficient reputation for a strange -surface- elf to know me by name." He growled, with as much distain for the term as he could muster, which some might have argued wasn't quite enough for his species, but debatably forgivable since he was curious. "Have we met?"

Surface elf...in the underground....He stared for a few moments trying to mesh the ideas in ways that had more to do with his own mental picture of what things -should- look like in the Underground than what they did, which...needless to say, made the meshing poor at best and earned Hyde an comical look.
"Well I suppose thats his perogative to -try- and track Drow." He snorted, trying to look unruffled by the idea that someone had sucessfuly found out his name without him realizing it, which made him wonder what -else- they knew. Unfortunately, for a drow, his capacity for stealth was....limited.

"Well ordinarily I would introduse myself." Feroz growled, looking quite flustered by all this. Was he really -that- easy to keep track of? "However that seems like it would be a bit pointless at this juncture. "Seems rather pointless as well to complain about my own failure to be more difficult to keep track of....so in the name topics that might get somewhere...Why the neatherhells are there eggs in your tea?"

"It still looks like eggs. Sort of attention catching given the normal reputation of elves." Tapioca pearls? He'd never had Tapioca either, it didn't seem much more appealing than the frog eggs the pearls resembled. "People who get overlooked are useful. The more people pretend you're not there, the more likely they are to forget you really are and to say things they might otherwise not." He pointed out, twisting up the corner of his mouth in a smile, that didn't come out quite as dry as he would have intended. The truth was he rather -liked- talking to people. Horrible, horrible habit that it was, he enjoyed talking to people casually. "Though I hope you haven't mistaken me for some kind of court jester."

A somewhat broader smile thistime, and even an actual chuckle from Feroz, though he shook his head slightly. "Well I'm sure in some culture thats considered a delicasy. Sorry.... However, neither am I qualified to be a knight, it's just Feroz." Kayorlin barely qualified as a house name anyway...

"I suspect that rather relates to how it became a habit to begin with." He noted, shrugging faintly, though he was also starting to relax, even visibly, which played strangely against the signs that, at least in the past, Feroz had been repeatedly inclined toward battle, the thin scars on his face and hands, and the somewhat heavy build for a drow.
In spite of himself, he was getting comfortable around Hyde, which made him mentaly kick himself. Hyde was, after all, technicly supposed to qualify as 'enemy' just like anyone not a drow, regardless of how far out of contact he'd fallen with such things. Although really....as long as he was careful, where was the harm. He didn't even seem to be armed, though that might mean he was a spell caster instead.
